Ball Flight MEVO+

So of the videos available and the written reviews it seems that ball flight of the MEVO+ is perfectly fine. There was one video showing opposite ball flight with all other parameter looking good. The video was removed from YouTube. Those that have the MEVO+ already. What are you experiences? Compare it to other systems if you can. Thanks

For a quick experiment today I took my Mevo outside to the range and hit in the FS golf app in short indoor mode. I was pleasantly surprised with shot shape and carry distances from what I could visibly see. I didn’t have any shots that registered with opposite spin axis, and my typical shot is a push draw

I had my first really frustrating experience with the Mevo+ today and it may have been user error. Everything with my driver was start left and snapping left. I think it was due to alignment.

I eventually worked it out but not after a pretty annoying start to my session. It would be extremely helpful to have a center line in the align mode within the FS Golf app.

More updates:

1) Adjusting the tilt is paramount for accurate launch angle. Today was hitting low bullets and wondering what was going on. Turns out my tilt was way off. I adjusted that and my carry numbers and LA looked right.
2) I hit into a net outdoors and was getting seriously frustrated with my stickers falling off after just a few hits (I think this is better hitting into a smooth screen). Last night place some stickers on some brand new balls and covered over the stickers with super glue. It works perfectly. Stickers will not come off.

I’ve used the same ball with the same sticker on my net return for about 150 shots with no issue. I can only hit irons but I’d guess high spin worse on the sticker than high ball speed but maybe not.

For those testing outdoor with indoor short mode engaged, are you sure the Mevo+ is not looking at a good portion of the ballflight (Ie looking at the first 30 to 40 yards of flight to trigger reading the spin)?

I’m fairly certain it isn’t. In outdoor mode the measurements aren’t reported unit about the time the ball lands. In short indoor used outside the measurements are reported immediately after the ball is struck just like it would into a net
