My new mevo+ seems to be measuring my swing speed low by 10-15 mph. With my driver, I am usually swinging 110-115 mph consistently and when I am on fire, I can get in the 120-125 range. My mevo+ is measuring me at 100 or lower. I feel like I am stroking it good but I cannot get it any higher. Are there settings that I have to adjust or am I just not as good as I thought I was?

Did you select Driver for the club?
Mevo+ is *very* accurate at measuring club head speed. Where/how else did you measure at those high ranges (what device)? Was it outdoors when it was that fast?

I got those numbers from two different local indoor simulators as well as my R-Motion that I have used in the same location as my mevo+. I am not sure if the brand of simulators but I know they are much fancier than the mevo+. I have plenty of room in my setup and swing freely so I do not think it is because I am timid or worried about indoor swinging. I have hit over 310 yards according to those simulators as well as my previous R-motion. I am having a hard time getting over 250 with my first go with the mevo+. I did have my tee height setting at an inch when it should have been zero. Would this cause the distance issue I am seeing? Maybe my laptop was too close (3-4 feet away) causing interference???

Wouldn't put a lot of stock in R-Motion club speed numbers... radar is much more accurate. Many other indoor "fancier" launch monitors don't actually measure clubhead speed, but rather calculate it based on ball speed and assumed smash factor, and also can be "juiced" in the settings if they're in a facility trying to sell new drivers (Golf Galaxy, looking at you.).Originally posted by weiland13 View PostI got those numbers from two different local indoor simulators as well as my R-Motion that I have used in the same location as my mevo+. Tee height should be the height difference between where your Mevo+ sits and the surface of your mat. The Mevo+ can never be higher than the mat, only lower. Best to have it level with mat, and tee setting at 0 even with driver which is tee'd up.
And you didn't answer my first question: did you set the Mevo+ app to Driver before testing?
If the answer to that is Yes, take it outdoors and test it where you can swing freely and have no interference from anything. I'd be very surprised if it's not 100% accurate, and your previous numbers were not.- Ron at GunghoGolf.com - we specialize in TrackMan, FlightScope, Foresight, Uneekor, SkyTrak, Garmin, Bushnell, TGC, and E6 Connect. 512-861-4151 or email hello AT gunghogolf.com.

I did have “driver” selected.
i found out one of the indoor simulators we have been using is a FULL SWING SIMULATORS brand. I will find out the other brand. Neither are at a golf galaxy.
i usually carry over 250 regularly. I did notice this morning that I had my tee height setting at 2”, not the 1” I thought earlier. I will give it a go again tonight and see what happens.
Overall, I am pleased with the unit. It works pretty slick.Last edited by weiland13; 03-17-2020, 12:07 PM.

Something is definitely up here, as I also can usually drive the ball at sea level over 250 yards, but my swing speed is Usually around 105?

I was a former SkyTrak owner and have used GC2 extensively. I had troubles reaching 160 with SkyTrak but could routinely get into the mid to high 160s on GC2. GC2 ball speeds seem much more inline with M+.
M+ is very consistent with swing speed readings. On drives with 165+ ball speed my swing speed is 110+. Another very consistent device is the Swing Speed Radar. 110 on Mevo+ equals about 115 on my SSR.
I'm not seeing anything out of the ordinary with ball speed, swing speed nor carry when compared to these other devices.

I haven't had any issues so far outside. I've used it on the range and on the course. While on the course I've been able to shoot total distance from tee to flag. Mevo+ numbers match up with what I'm seeing with my Bushnell range finder. I'm playing in about 45 degree weather and I've been impressed with it's distance measurements with a colder ball and shorter hitting distance in these conditions.
