  • E6C @ $300 or $600 Mevo+ upgrades given by Flightscope.

Info from a contact at Flightscope re upgrading E6C on Mevo+

This is the info I received from the TruGolf team.

The Mevo Connect package will include
Long drive, Closest to the Pin
    7 day time options
    IOS compatibility.

The basic subscription (300) will get the customer 12 rotating courses and games. We change one course each month to another course in our library. Right now the customer will get PC and IOS if they subscribe. The Skill shot course and the games like Darts and blackout will be available just not all the time and not all at once.

Bryan Brother Skills shot is a course that makes you take “skill shots” to get the ball into the hole. The player will have to hit fades and draws around mountains and trees to get the fairway. The greens are high up on the side mountains so you need to hit really high loft shots.

The expanded pack (600) will get the user access to everything all at once for as along as they subscribe.

    Hope this helps.

I believe this is an April upgrade only as quoted in the Webinar

I don't think that's any sort of special pricing for Flightscope, just E6's normal subscription model & prices.

Getting both iOS and PC licenses when you purchase either one is a special that is running for Mevo+ users through April.

Anyone can PM me for more info and best pricing for E6C for Mevo+.

I assume that's both licenses with e6 software purchase and not the Mevo+ purchase?

If it's the latter, that's incredible.

          The former is correct

GungHoGolf figured, but a guy can dream.

What would be the advantage of getting an iOS license if Mevo+ ships with one already? Having a second device license available? Different features in the second license then the standard package?

Mevo+ license is more for offline play of those 5 courses on iOS and the driving ranges. The paid license gives you more courses, online play, and updates/new revolving courses and mini games

Ah, I see. So they're saying you can have two E6C subscriptions for one rate under the promotion, instead of having to maintain two to get the same benefits cross-platform.

I was thinking it was for the outright software purchase, which doesn't make sense if I employ any reading comprehension whatsoever on the original post.

          Derp.

I am getting really confused about the whole mevo+ & E6connect thing.

I was told by a Flightscope online slaes guy (in the chat) - after mentioning the "deal" 7iron stated in some other thread about the webinar Flightscope did - that I can use E6connect on PC with a 300$ subscription. I specifically asked if there are any other purchases needed and he said no.

So can please someone tell me what the actual situation is for a mevo+ user without iOS device with respect to using e6connect on PC.

My understanding so far (and please correct if that is wrong):

        1. mevo+ comes with a basic E6connect license for iOS that normally costs 1500$. As a comparison: for Uneekor (and PC i'd assume) that licence costs 1200$.
        2. Hence mevo+ users can subscribe to either the 300$ or 600$ package for iOS.
        3. I have not seen an upgrade path from iOS to PC. Is there one?
        4. There are rumours that mevo+ users can do the 300$ or 600$ subscription for PC.
        5. GungHoGolf stated above that "Getting both iOS and PC licenses when you purchase either one is a special that is running for Mevo+ users through April." So mevo+ users can buy the (another?) iOS licence for 1500$ and get the PC license (that normally costs 2500$) for free?

So what I really would like to know: What is the cost associated with E6connect and mevo+ on PC given all the various offers & rumours that are going around?

Answers greatly appreciated! Maybe someone knowledgable ( GungHoGolf ?) can start a thread describing the processes and the costs involved (although I am aware that doing this on the forum of a competitor might not be the most stylish thing to do).

        Thanks.

This is my understanding of the Mevo+ / E6C setup and options from what I've read, as I don't have one

          1. Mevo+ basic E6C is not the $1,500 package, but a partial setup where you get 5 courses. You can buy the iOS full package for $1,500 and add a few more courses
          2. $300/$600 subscription gets you a year to play more courses and/or online for iOS OR PC, not both (except until April from the post above)
          3. iOS and PC are 2 separate licenses, not upgrade path
          4. Mevo+ and Skytrak can pay for just the subscription, not needed is the $1,500 (iOS) or $2,500 (PC) basic package
          5. With regard to "another iOS license" the promotion gives you the basic subscription add-on iOS license and the basic subscription add-on PC license.

The basic E6C package that comes with Mevo+ is more for offline course play on just those 5 courses. The paid subscription adds about 30 more (15 standard and a varying number of revolving courses) and online play capabilities for iOS. The promotion gives the benefit of a similar PC license.

Thanks @DS12: So from what you are understanding (number 4): One can get the 300$ subscription for PC without purchasing the basic package for PC (2500$), provided that one owns a mevo+ or Skytrak.

DS12 is correct above. schurlette, yes, Mevo+ and SkyTrak owners can buy the $300 or the $600 annual sub without purchasing the base package for PC. Same with iOS - no need to buy the base package. Probably 99% of customers just buy the subs for whatever platform they want. PM for best pricing of E6 Connect on Mevo+.
