  • Mevo + and TGC 2019 distance boost multiplier

Hi all, I’m wondering if there is a way to boost distance on TGC 2019 on mevo+ like there is ok skytrack and GC2. I would like to be able to play with my wife and my father but give them a bit of a distance boost to make it fun when I get my unit. I haven’t purchased yet but all signs lead to the mevo being the unit I want. Lack of this function could be a deal breaker for me however. So, can you do it? Have any of you messed around with it if you can? Thank you.

If it's not an option, you can have different people play from different sets of tees in TGC2019. So the wife and dad can play the forward tees and you can play further back.

I should add that not all courses have different sets of tees, but with literally thousands of courses in the game you'll have no trouble finding plenty of courses with tees at the appropriate lengths for everyone playing.

Agree, just use the different tee options to play the appropriate length per player

I do agree that use of another tee is an option that would work in most scenarios. However I know there could be a lot of fun to be had playing courses at tour length with the added boost. This is an option with other units and I cannot seem to find if it is an option with this unit before I decide to purchase it. I love TGC 2019 in its console version and for sure will use it as my sim software because of the amount of course options.

I would prefer to go with mevo for its ease of lefty/righty play but that boost feature in the for fun simulation rounds is something I want to have as well.

Yes, there is a boost option but it's not allowed when playing the online tour.

That is fine by me. Is the mevo boost the same as the skytrack one (up to 50%)?

I'm glad the online tour play doesn't allow the boost option. It makes it more realistic by using your own clubs, your own body with no artificial enhancements

If I’m not mistaken isn’t +- 5% allowed on the tour? Now I don’t have my system yet but have been reading up on the tour rules and it appears to me that 5% is allowed to help you get more towards your real numbers if your machine is reading a little off. I could be wrong though.

Good point Lefty33 I recall reading this as well. ProTee United can you confirm whether the +/- 5% is allowed on the Tour online?
