I have been testing the Mevo plus and it works well. It is very dependent on the environment indoors. Although not as accurate as my GC2 it is quite good. Does the metallic dot indoors make the spin axis more accurate?

Bubba I posted several comparisons of shots with and without the dots. All the info is posted so maybe you can get some data that you need about spin axis from it.
Today I was messing with my driver and decided to check something out. I took 2 brand new balls, a Callaway supersoft and a Titleist avx with no dot and hit 15 shots, all the spin numbers were in the 4000’s and italicized. I then cleaned the balls and applied the mevo dots and hit 15 more shots. 12 out of the 15 shots the

Thanks shanks. I think it’s hard to deduce spin axis difference from your data. It would be best to compare each shot plus or minus a dot against another unit such as a GC2/Quad or Uneekor. From what I am seeing, compared to a GC2 I don’t see an improvement with spin axis when I use the dot. This is a rough comparison of course. Total spin is definitely improved just as your data suggests but spin axis seems consistent. Other data such as speed, direction, launch angle etc are similar as well.Last edited by Bubba22; 12-29-2020, 02:16 AM.
