If I remember correctly when there was no interference the line was Green, moderate Orange and lots red. If you take a shot or even wave you hand in front of the Mevo you should see spike. Was the mevo plugged into an outlet during the test? Dirty power can make a difference.

When I ran the test before they took the webpage down, my enviornment was green, when moved something infront of it, it spiked. When took to kitchen and pointed at the fridge, it rescaled and changed colors to red.

Might be worth a call to FS Support. Are you having problems?

I will hit a shot on the noise app today to see what registers.

I haven’t gotten everything fully tweaked in the “physical setup” enough yet to say whether my shot results are an issue or not. Like almost everyone else, I felt that the short irons seemed a bit short, but not too bad. However, the driver was extremely short. Having been away from golf for about 10 yrs, I am a very inconsistent striker. So, I invited a friend over to hit some balls. He was a plus hcp 10 yrs back when I played more, and he is still a 4 today. He is a long ball hitter and his drives were barely going 200yds total.

The caveat here is that my physical environment wasn’t perfect, meaning my Mevo+ wasn’t level with my hitting surface. I have some “Astro turf” on the garage floor, but that wasn’t my hitting surface, it is just covering the concrete, and I was using a small temp mat to hit off until my full mat arrives today, 12/2/22.

Mevo to tee will be 7’
Tee to screen will be 11’
i think I can squeak out another foot, where I can be at 8’ and 11’, so that should be more than sufficient.
as you can see in the test image, my tilt and roll appear to be good?

So, I didn’t want to overreact to say I was having issues, I just wanted to use the noise app to rule that out “proactively” before the full mat arrived. I just wasn’t sure I was using it correctly.

P.S.
There aren’t any large appliances in the area, and the only electrical within 15-20’ is the laptop and projector on a shelf about 4ft above the Mevo, and I do keep my Bushnell Wingman charging on the wall and for tunes, but that is easily relocated if need be. Since this is in a garage, I do have a non-electric LP heater in the corner, about 6-7’ from the Mevo and not in line of sight.

I don’t think this setup will present any issue? Please let me know if any of you feel that I need to change something.
I’ll post some pics of the setup when it is finalized this weekend.

I was curious so in my home office I just used the Environment test tool. It shows my AVG noise to be 0 and when I wave my hand in front of it you can see the spikes. The taller spiks is when I moved faster.

A couple guesses as to your potential issues. You AVG noise of 75, this seems high, could be interference. ISS (indoor swing syndrome) is real, can take weeks of hitting everyday to get rid of. the turf interaction can make a difference too, hitting a slightly behind the ball with some turfs can make a huge difference. Might try hitting your irons off a tee to eliminate the mat as source.

I assume your LP heater is meant for indoor use, hate to have carbon monoxide poisoning.

Yep, the heater is for indoor use and it is a large garage, so it should be good. I have used it for a couple of years, as I had an Optishot 2 in my SIM area to start with. I upgraded to the Mevo+ in November, and I am re-working the hitting environment to better suit the Mevo+.

I am a bit of an odd duck on ISS. I think I have OSS! I seem to swing better and more freely indoors than I do on the actual golf course. I have found that I sometimes put that guide swing into play on the golf course. I don't sweat it when hitting in the SIM nearly as much. But I have a pretty open hitting area and have been hitting in the SIM for a couple of years.

I am going to retest everything once I feel the physical environment is up to par. I am really hoping there isn't too much interference. I did forget to mention that my shop/garage has metal paneled walls, but I didn't think that was supposed to cause any interference?

I uninstalled the old version and ran this one. Didn’t seem to be an installer, just unzipped to the folder and ran the app from there. I think I got some good results with this, and I hit a few shots on it too. Pretty quiet green lines until the spikes at impact. Do these results appear to indicate a “clean” environment?

I am computer illiterate. If I put this on a jump drive and bring it to my sim PC, what do I need t do to get this to work?

Hi Handicaper just unzip it to a folder on your PC Desktop and run the application from that folder. I did not see an install utility. When you start the tool, you will need to select IP and then connect to your Mevo.
