Does anyone else have an issue with their Mevo+ switching off while playing a round? I have mine connected to the charging cable and mains via extension lead but I could only get throuigh 17 holes before the unit powered off. Does it draw more power than it can charge while the radars are on?

A kind soul on the facebook group informed me if you dont have it connected to power before switching it on - sometimes the unit doesnt recognise it attached to main and wont charge the battery. So after charging a bit and then turning it on while connected to mains it seems to work well! I will see how we go with this. Loving this unit, just a couple of little gotcha's but all in all it's great! -
I had come across this video when i was researching buying one. I follow these steps and it works and never shuts down.

Might wanna check with Flightscope on what they recommend. I have heard that not enough current can cause problems. Just what I read on another forum. You will love the Mevo+. It is fantastic!Comment

The external battery FS used to sell and I purchased from FS with my Mevo+ is 5v 2.1a. The wall plug is 5v 2.5a. Your probably safe. I would buy a better one that has some regulationComment
