  • Mevo Offset Question

I have my Mevo + and almost done with my room configuration. I'll need to offset around a foot. Could I leave the Mevo centred to screen and will it still read? Just wondering what the "field of view" is of the radar. Would be helpful when having a leftie round to play.

The Mevo+ has about 12" of "window" for the ball location - so you could have Mevo+ centered with screen and place ball 6" to right of center for righties, and 6" to left of center for lefties. If you need more, you can always mount the Mevo+ on a sliding rail (I recently used a 60" sliding rail for a FlightScope X3 installation in an 11 foot wide room built for righties and lefties).

What did you use for that sliding rail Ron? I’m hoping to do something similar but haven’t been able to find an hardware I think would work.

I’m in a similar boat. 12 foot wide room. Would love a quick easy way to slide the mevo back and forth

I used this track: https://amzn.to/2MvbvBm with 1/4" aluminum plate (https://amzn.to/39kGYiQ) big enough for radar footprint screwed to mount, with this rubber surface stuck to aluminum: https://amzn.to/3t01jBK

Thanks Ron. So do you just slide it across for each player to take their shot - no other setup or adjustments between shots?

By that I mean no software adjustments.

        That's correct.
