So I just got my Mevo+ this weekend after a couple of months. I think the wait was good cause gave me time to read up so that I knew some of the kinks to expect and how to work through them. Took me a couple of days but my simple setup works like a charm and absolutely love this thing. Putts working 95% of the time even. So far pretty happy.
Now with all that said there is one kink I can not figure out and was hoping someone had a tip/trick for me. Short chips. I'm talking the 15-25ft bump and run type chips. I've even tried hitting the high flops as well. Often I find myself in this situation and I actually have to hit it hard enough to register but then it flies past pin. So my questions are...
a) Is there any way to get these types of short chips to register? Any tip or trick that can get this to work? Please oh please, I do so hope.
b) If the answer to A is really no... honestly I could live with it except for the fact that when playing E6 It usually cost me a shot cause I have to hit it too far past pin to register. Is there a way on E6 where I could just move the ball further back whenever I hit within this 15-25FT chip range.... Or is the only option to hit a mulligan on the shot that landed me tthere?
Here's video of exactly what I'm talking about
