  • New MEVO+

I am having a couple issues/questions that I thought someone could help with.

First, Is the weather used when you are in indoor mode? I have the weather update turned on and it is 20 degrees outside, but it is 70 degrees inside where we are playing.

Second, We have not been able to get ANY putt to read. Any recommendations? If we take a wedge and do a little chip it reads, but nothing with putting.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I have had my Mevo unit for a couple of weeks now. Putting has been a struggle. They are supposed to release firmware this week that may help solve this issue. I had to call and have them load up older firmware on mine to get it to putt. Make sure the tilt angle is correct. also make sure to have the unit at the same height as the surface you are putting on. I actually have mine a little higher than the putting surface. Try using different speeds of putts and different balls. You can call the customer service line and they can have a tech read info off of your mevo and help to figure out issues.

I don't have a Mevo+ but have seen many videos on it. I think when you putt, make sure you use a ball without the metallic sticker on it.

When you use the weather, it will take the readings from the internet including your elevation. So if its 20 deg outside it will simulate your ball flight at 20 deg, Mevo+ does not have a thermometer on it. I'm in Michigan about 800ft above sea level, I typically leave it at standard conditions, so I can compare how I am doing and not differences in the atmospheric conditions. If you wait about 5 minutes after FS golf looses internet, you can change the conditions manually. Its nice to see the difference how weather effects your distances. If you want your distances to go further, select a high elevation, with a high temperature and high humidity. They all reduce air density making the ball go further.
