Hi All! Recently joined and have been reading all of the great information here to kick off my build! I am building my simulator in an extra-deep garage stall. Because I would like to still be able to pull in the garage in the winter, I was hoping to build the floor to include an "island" back to the Mevo+ unit so that I am able to straddle the "island" with my truck. I have a couple of questions below and my current plan is listed at the bottom with a quick AutoCAD layout sketch.

Thanks in advance!!!
- Is the "island" idea ok or does the Mevo+ need a wider place to sit between the unit and the ball? If the island is ok, can it be 2' wide or should I go 4' (as shown in layout)?
- I ordered a TrueStrike gel section and range section to sink into my subfloor and be level with the remaining turf surface. Will I be able to hit off of both and the Mevo+ detect both shots? Plan would be to hit off of inner side of either mat and rotate mats 180deg when worn out.
- Flightscope Mevo+ (ordered)
