  • Mevo+, E6 Connect and iPhone mirrored on Macbook Pro

    Hi All

Long term forum voyeur, as part of my research, but first time poster. I'm really hoping some Mevo+ users can help me please.

I have an outdoor net and mat and looking to purchase a Mevo+ to use after lots of research. I want to use the E6 connect software that's included but as someone who recently purchased a Macbook Pro for other reasons, I'm reluctant to buy an ipad or windows laptop just to use E6 connect.

I've seen that with an iPhone you can view the screen on the Macbook Pro using QuickTime or a similar app.

Has anyone tried this please? Does it work? And if so do the graphics look like the iPhone graphics just scaled up?

I'm well aware of the graphic limitations of using E6 on an iPhone or ipad but in truth think it will be more than enough for how I will use it.

Thanks in advance for your help

IMO, TGC2019 is So much better than e6. If you bought TGC2019 that would solve your problem.

E6 on the iPhone can be mirrored to the Mac. https://www.businessinsider.com/how-...-iphone-to-mac
If you have a M1 MBP you can run iPad apps natively off the MBP, keep in my in mind the aspect ratio will be a bit weird.
Graphics and smoothness on iOS is quite decent. There is virtually no lag with a iPhone 12 Pro.
My current set up is using the iPad Pro + Apple TV to an LG 4k projector using air play. The lag free wireless world is pretty amazing. Even if you had an iPad you’ll still want your iPhone to act as a hotspot for E6 and Awesome Golf.

Hope that helps. Good luck 👍🏻

When using your iPad Pro to Apple TV, are you able to get a wider aspect ratio than the iPad's native 4:3? Without any stretching?
