  • Mevo plus sensor

Hi there. I have a 10m or 30 foot room that I’d like to put a mevo plus in. If I build a deck out from the screen to about 4m where I will hit from and then place the sensor a lot further back but not on the deck but level with the deck will this be ok please? Does it matter if it’s not a continuous surface? Cheers.

You just need it to be close to the same level as the ball. Being on a different surface is fine.

Thank you very much. Can I ask another please? Is there a data accuracy ‘curve’ for placing the sensor nearer or further away? Likewise distance from testo screen? Cheers

Ball to Mevo+ distance doesn't affect accuracy much as long as you're within the "good" range - 6-8 feet in our experience. Ball to impact screen distance is very important - longer is always better (so long as your high trajectory shots are safely stopped). In our experience, 9 ft of ball flight is usually enough for all clubs. With higher ball speeds (north of 160-170 mph), 10 ft or longer may be required for accurate driver and 3W reads (less time for the radar to pick up the spin).
