Flightscope FS Golf for PC

I heard rumours quite a while ago that Flightscope were looking at releasing their software for PC? Is there any more on this? Id dearly love to be able to use my projector with FSgolf apps - im using the E6 range - which is fine tbh but it would be nice to have different options.

Update:
I tried LD player and it works nicely..
Only issue so far is that whenever I try to get a video of my swing (using internal radar camera or otherwise) it crashes the app.
That's minor but It would be nice to get that working..
But it's a start.

I’m using LD player and agree it works well. Laptop camera crashes the app as you say.

Another problem I noticed is that my sessions don't appear to get uploaded to the FS cloud so I can't review them on their myflightscope.com portal...
I tried turning on the "mobile data" option and leaving Mevo+ disconnected to allow app to connect to internet but didn't seem to work..
Anybody else experiencing this?

Let's keep sharing, we'll get to the bottom of this together..
Golf is hard enough without having to fight software issues!

UPDATE:
After letting LD Player and FSGolf running a bit longer (w/ radar disconnected) the new session eventually did show up on my flightscope portal...

I use the LD player also and it loads the data just fine within a minute or so after closing a session.
LD Player allows you to crank up the resolution also and get more tiles on the screen.

Aussiebenny had a thread on here a while ago explaining how he installed native FS Golf android apps on a Windows 11 machine:

I had previously tried MemuPlay and BlueStacks which didn't work for me (either crashed or showed data but no flight track). Following the instructions in the post above was more complicated but it worked for me. I now have FS golf as an app on my PC and I never have to use my phone anymore.

Great link. Win11 has built-in Android emulation but my old gaming rig is not Win11 compatible (thankfully )

Had the same issue, no Win11 yet! So I use Memu play, installed PureAPK by dropping downloaded APK on the emulator and then installed FS Golf from PureAPK.
I set it up the other day and works after I upgraded to proper Wifi card on my computer, got issues with TGC as well after going Pro Package (so had to upgrade PC hardware too). Have not used FS Golf so much, waiting for more features, but nice to have. Will have to try it with a camera...

Does anyone know how to hide the top menu bar on Memu emulation? The one with the time, battery and signal etc?

Since it is Android it is for the app developers to implement. They set different system UI flags to hide status bar or into full immersive mode. I would love if they did do that.

I'm not sure about Memu but with LDplayer there's keyboard shortcuts to go in full screen mode (F11).
Even on a projector at 1080p, FSGolf is so wasteful on screen estate though.. When I'm doing the DTL or Top view in FSGolf thetwo arrow keys to select previous shots are blocking access to the Groupings and All Shots buttons.. Such a bad layout..The whole top of the screen is blank and could be used for efficiently... I can't stand those badly designed mobile Apps that are being forced down our throats these days. And it's not like Apple is much better (but it's definitely more consistent anyways)..</rant>
Let's hope E6 wakes the f up and gives us full metrics so I can use that range instead! Otherwise I guess I'd have to go buy an Android tablet I guess..

New Mevo+ owner here. As part of my setup I was chatting with Mevo support last Thursday 5/6 and was told that FS is looking to launch PC apps THIS MONTH (May). Who knows - based on reading this whole thread, sounds like that could be wishful thinking but thought I'd share nonetheless. It's only an anecdote, but I've had a number of friends get the Mevo+ lately and hopefully they're doing well and able to use those funds to elevate the intuitiveness of the apps (I'm on iOS) and get user friendly PC apps. I can deal with the cumbersome nature of the app functionality, but it sure would be nice to see improvement.
