Not good with real ball

I have a big problem with the distance of the full shots with the mevo +. both in fs and in e6. I try in my garden and in my house, with my cage that is 8ft x 8ft x 8ft I have the necessary distance of 9 feet from the ball to the net and 7 or 8 feet from the mevo to the ball. I tried different tilts and also distance from the mevo to the ball but the carry distances are always 15/25 yrd less. I have done both lessons and fittings with the trackman and I know my distances well with the irons. i use short indoor but also indoor nothing has changed.i tried using dot on the ball but even without it and nothing changed. I try different degrees but nothing good. the mevo is updated, it will have 0.27 and dsp 0.18. Ver 3.5.4 .
while the approach and putt he reads them very well.
In fact golf I try the option standard ball and range ball but not difference.
incredibly reads distances a little better with foam balls, especially with sw gw pw 9iron. the ball flights seem accurate to me, but the distance is not and it is frustrating. I saw that in fs golf, in the option there is support and there is restore default settings. what happens to do the restore? it is a problem for me to call support from Italy also because my English is not so good as to have a telephone conversation.

I am attaching a photo as an example, of a ball definitely hit well with a pw. I usually fly around 110mt. I see an exaggeratedly high flight, and launch angle and generally my ball fly 90feet with the pw. but that's not all, as other balls that have fly 90 feet, they didn't even go close to 105/110 meters.
but this the best long carry ball with pw. Often is like 85 mt...

Your launch angle definitely is high. Just changing the value to 25° in the optimiser tool gets 113y with all other metrics being the same.

Is the unit reading off a flat surface?

Make sure to always use the metallic sticker on the ball (otherwise the Mevo+ estimates spin, and tends to estimate on the high side), use Short Indoor mode, have the sticker oriented on the target-line axis of the ball (straight up is best, as you'll be distributing strikes around the equator of the ball - if sticker is off-center, spin will be read high and distance will suffer), and make sure to test with a fresh, new-ish ball. Balls often crack and go 20% short for about 20-30 more shots before you can actually see the crack.

Your spin on that shot is reasonable for a PW hit at that speed and launch angle.

Your PW launch angle of 40, however, is SUPER high, as bubbtubbs mentioned above. Should be 22-25 range. Even your lob wedge should launch at 30-32. You're flipping (early releasing) to get a launch that high.

To see if the Mevo+ is reading the correct launch angle, you can plug in your screen-to-ball distance in this spreadsheet (make a copy of it first), measure from your floor to the impact spot on your net or screen, and check each shot: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing. With a 9' ball-to-screen distance, a 40-deg launch will hit the screen 93" from the floor (almost 8 feet). A 25 degree launch will hit 51" from the floor.

What type of mat are you using? Some mats force a shallow angle of attack because you either a) can't take a divot, or b) taking a divot hurts, which can lead to being flippy.

Finally - where did you do your TrackMan testing, indoors or outdoors? Guys who haven't hit indoors much before will often have ISS for several weeks or even longer - see https://gunghogolf.com/articles/indo...ndrome-skytrak. If your launch angle of 40 with the PW is correct, you're probably in a higher handicap bracket and more susceptible to ISS.

If all else fails, you'll need to contact FlightScope - it's rare to have a unit out of calibration, but they're always happy to help.

I always use the metallic dot, I use new balls. I know that my launch angle is exaggerated, with the trackman it is about 27 degrees. but i think it is a problem of the mevo or of the setup. the mat is new and soft, a mat from an Italian professional firm that works with several clubs. i do trackman indoors with the fitter 2 times and with the instructor outdoors. I'm 8 handicap. I will have to try in a practice field to understand if it is a dtl setup or mevo problem. thanks a lot

Sounds good. Good luck! First thing to check would be the height the ball hits the net or screen, and check it against that launch angle spreadsheet. The VLA is what's causing your short carries.
