Last week Flightscope informed me they are working on releasing the Flightscope teebox geared towards simulation. The Teebox is a separate unit that works in conjunction with the X2 and sits behind the impact screen and reads short shots and putts. The way it works is when the X2 fails to read the shot or putt, the Teebox takes over and tracks the shot or putt. Flightscope plans on releasing the Teebox sometime in August of 2015. Flightscope had initially planned on releasing this in 2012 but didn't because of some issues. This is what I don't understand. You would think the majority of home consumers would be getting the X series.They would be the majority using simulation which would be better with chipping and putting.
