E6 and Pro Package: E6 fails to read shots - Response from E6 support

Anybody else experiencing this? Mevo+ updated to .20, plus Pro Package. E6 updated to 1.10.0.0. FS Golf app reads shots just fine, and all data appear as expected. E6 shows that it is connected to the Mevo+, however E6 fails to read shots.

I contacted E6 support. After a bit of clarifying back-and-forth, here is the response:

"I have an update.
This was unknown to us, was the Mevo+ Pro
This is not yet supported in E6 CONNECT

We had been told it’s backwards compatible...
I can verify now, it is not.

We are working with FlightScope over the Mevo+Pro integration (even today) and hope to have something soon, but no official ETA yet."

I had the same experience today and was advised by FS that E6 has not been updated. It would have been nice to know beforehand that this was not compatible. I would have waited to upgrade the unit and package. I embarrassing had friends over then couldn't use the sim for that purpose.

I am not sure you can roll back the firmware once you have activated the Pro package. That would be a good question for Flightscope if anyone is contacting them.

I have E6 on my PC and I was able to roll back from 1.10.0.0 to 1.8.4.4 (last version I had downloaded). This worked for me.

Guess I'm lucky that my E6 did not update when I activated my pro Package , still has the old version, no Bay Hill.

I have the same problem. Pro package works just fine on FS apps but absolutely nothing on e6. Lets hope this get fixed quick.

on the other hand the new data seems really accurate and trustable on the FS apps regarding club path and face angles.

Let’s hope these data are integrated in e6 as soon as they render in compatible with the pro package

Sorry i dont't understand, do we rollback E6 or Mevo+ ? I am not confortable to rollback the mevo with a >1000€ activation key :-( I have played with the 0.2 firmware and E6 before buying the pro package, it was awesome , no issues.

Not sure you can roll back the Mevo+ firmware. Likely just have to wait for an e6 update.

Yes, we are aware of this issue. E6 will be releasing an update to the app here shortly in order to fix the issue.

18 months ago they've answered me the same thing when i told them that E6 isn't available outside the US App store, and it is still not available ...
TrueSwing does what they want, when they want it, with their uniq sense of priority like after years there is still not a bag management feature...
I think i will invest in AWESOME GOLF if it works with pro package.

If you mean email regarding rollback, that was posted above by member preludesam. I did not receive a rollback email. If you mean what I was advised by FS, no email, advised over the phone that e6 is updated to work with the pro package.

UPDATE: E6 have updated properly for PC. iOS version awaiting App Store approval. NOTE: Do not use Microsoft Edge to download the update.

Thanks for the help with E6, looking forward to the update. I’ve also emailed Flightscope support as since updating to 0.20 and ProPackage my carry distances are way down in FS Golf. Like loss of 20yds on PW. Will post the response.

9 irons carrying 185-195, 4 iron carrying 255-265.

Come on Flightscope, come out with a version of Perfect Golf similar to Trackman to eliminate this non-sense.

Anyone else noticing this?

I dont think Flightscope will be coming out with a software version like Trackman. These 3rd part software are quite good. I agree the distances in E6 are way too much. This is a software bug and needs an upgrade. I find the distances in the Flightscope app and TGC way too low with the driver which needs to be adjusted. Al clubs are too long with E6.

Same here. I tried to attached a screen shot but it wouldn’t upload for some reason.
Anyway, E6 seems to be getting the correct info from my mevo+ with Pro Package (data bar shows 163 mph, 2200 spin, etc…) but somehow E6 translated that into 326 yd carry on what should have been ~270 yds. So it seems like there is a bug in their ball flight model (just a guess).

This occurs both in Range mode and while playing a course.

But no problems with the numbers on the Flightscope FS Golf app.
