  • Mevo+ IP address change?

    Was trying to work out why E6 on my PC could never find my Mevo+ when connected to my network. FS golf on iOS always found it. E6 offline works fine.

    Seems Flightscope coded the IP address of the Mevo+ to be 192.168.2.1. Which is fine except when that’s the same as my home network subnet! This explains why E6 can’t find it.

    I can change my IP subnet but it’s a PITA because there’s a lot of devices and some don’t use DHCP.

    Does anyone know If the IP address of the Mevo+ can be changed??

    How about a DHCP reservation for the Mevo+ in your router.

      Yes it can be changed very easily by contacting flightscope tech support. I had the same issue with my bell fibe internet and Flightscope was very aware of how to change it and mine has worked perfectly since. Flightscope will setup a remote session on your computer to do it.

        thanks for this. just had the remote session with Flightscope support - all fixed in 10 mins. Brilliant!

          WHAT ? Flightscope accepts to change the network setup of the Mevo ?
          in this case why don’t they deliver a very simple setup utility to let us use our own wifi hotspot and avoid all the network issues and having to buy cellular iPads ?

            Hello, resurrecting this thread because I had the very same issue. My Mevo+ worked with everything EXCEPT TGC2019. It would show "connected" but would not register any shots in TGC2019. It was very frustrating.

            I found that the 192.168.2.1 address on the Mevo Plus did conflict with my DHCP server on my WiFi, so I called Flightscope.

            just got off the phone with FlightScope and the solution was very simple and everything you need is located in the FS Golf app on your iPad.
            • Make sure nothing else is connected to the Mevo+
            • Connect your iPad wifi to the Mevo+
            • Open FS Golf
            • Go to "Settings"
            • Go to “Radar Settings”
            • Go to the "Advanced Settings"
            • Go to "Wifi Settings"
            • Click on the IP 192.168.2.1 and change it to 192.168.3.1 (or some other non-conflicting IP)
            • Save the changes
            • Disconnect Mevo+ from the iPad
            • Reboot Mevo+
            • Go back to your laptop or PC where TGC2019 is installed.
            • Connect your Mevo+ to wifi
            • Relaunch the TGC-Flightscope Interface
            • The old IP may still show up, if so, click the box where the IP is displayed, and there will be a drop down to select the new 192.68.3.1 IP or whatever you set it to.
            • Relaunch TGC2019
            • Select a course in gameplay and you should now be seeing the shots register on screen.

            This worked for me on the Mevo+ while playing TGC2019 and alleviated a lot of frustration!

            Hope this helps someone like me later who can avoid having to call Flightscope. I will say however, they were VERY helpful and solved the issue quickly.
