I doubt it... and I highly doubt I am going to get FS Golf on the PC working with my X3. I shouldn't be complaining, of all the LM companies I think Flighscope has provided the most value to its customers.Comment

Impact location is pretty cool. $500 idk - definitely will wait until some reviews come in. Eventually 3rd party software companies will use it to account for gear effect.Comment

WOW. I just read the part where they: while the 2023 model will come with new FSGolf for PC (finalyl!), us suckers with old model will have to buy it for 99$!!! now that's insulting..It should basic feature.. I don't mind buying charged for Pro Package and the likes but basic software should be included.
I'm not paying to be a beta tester. no thanks.

I'm getting an X3 this year anyways so none of this really affects me. I want the extra parameters, setup convenience, full flight tracking and dual Doppler for club stats.Comment

My guess is not insanely better, but a fully loaded Mevo+ is around 3k USD and you can get a pre-owned X3 for around 7k.
The price difference doesn't mean much to me when you consider all the extra analytics you get access to, plus self leveling is so convenient you've used it. -
It’s much better. I really enjoy it for just the creature comforts like a 6 hour battery life.

The biggest question is "will the face impact location be used to adjust the spin axis and account for gear effect". I wonder if any X3 users have tested this against a Uneekor/Foresight/impact tape or spray etc If so and if accurate, this can be a huge upgrade.Comment

The price of $500 seems inadequate. I'm not sure I would use it for all the shots. I think for experienced players it's not that beneficial at that price.Comment

Looking at the screenshots Flightscope published, I don't think a Mevo+ without this add-on will be measuring the impact location. The screenshots show calibration of the hitting area might be needed along with enough light similar to what Trackman requires. I hope we find out if the measured impact location affects and improves the flight algorithm. -
I do not think the flight algorithm will be updated with this release. Likely comes later to FS golf. Seem like a lot to update. Every current algorithm would need to be updated based on strike location and club dimension. I bet GS Pro gets to it before Flightscope.Last edited by Dan13; 01-24-2023, 10:41 PM.

I want to know more on the 3h battery life. Is it a new battery, software optimization that makes things more efficient or just new hardware inside. If it Is new hardware, is the 2023 version more accurate than the 2020? Did they find a different vendor for the battery that fits but lasts longer? So many questions....Comment
