That's great to hear preludesam. Is it easy to calibrate? Do you think it makes a difference in spin axis indoors?

The setup verification is just like the old verification where you have the circle for the hitting area and it gives you the dots except now it gives you a green text if there is enough light to read impact location. As far as calibration for the club sizes or changing the impact location I haven’t had to adjust it. They did a good job on the defaults and mine has been very accurate so far.

You get the option to adjust if the location is inaccurate but I haven’t had to use it. I guess you could go in a setup each club dimension but I’m to lazy since it hasn’t been an issue.

I never had spin axis issues. What’s the symptoms?

That is great. I test my Mevo plus with a GC2 indoors and often get opposite spin axis measurements in off center strikes. Looking forward to testing the face impact add on.

After all of last year that we were promised of the PC version of FS Golf, it ends up being a paid software for us exsiting Mevo+ users??? What a rip!

Also, I can't believe that the new model (if you can even call it that) gets the E6Golf PC license while we are stuck with iOS only. I sure hope they allow existing Mevo+ users gain access to that also instead of requiring us to sell ours to get the new model which is virtually identical sans the stand....

The new face impact location is a cool feature, but for $499-(discount) for one parameter. When they sell the pro-package for 1000-(discount) for 11 parameters. I know we do not pay a subscription, but that is a steep cost for one parameter. I would rather let them to remove the parameters i do not read in the pro-package and swap for the face impact location. i know they need to make money as they are a business.

I for one am not happy about paying for FSGolf . Maybe bundle it with the E6 for $100 for PC, thats reasonable

If they bundle it like that for existing customers, then I agree it would be reasonable.

There are no changes to the hardware. The only changes are the 12-degree stand and the battery.
Disappointed that features that were promised, and which influenced purchase decisions, such as a Windows version and club face contact point, are now a big GOTCHA. Garmin's customers are not getting this kind of treatment.

If Flightscope wants to charge future customers for these features, they can announce it in advance, but IMO previous purchasers should be grandfathered in, especially after paying an extra $1000.00 for the so-called Pro Package.

Did I miss a press release, or something? I'm not up on the media of socials.

What features did they promise and then yoink away? Face impact location that nobody even knew was coming for Mevo+ (it was announced for X3 some time ago) until the PGA show? The PC version is free (i.e. "grandfathered") for X3/M+ Pro purchasers and bundled with future Pro unlocks, so what's the problem?

PC version was promised to us for over a year now (since 2021 and well before Pro package was even a thing), telling us that it's in development and coming soon etc. But now we are told we have to pay $99 USD for it.. Not happy. Meanwhile, the new 2023 Mevo+ users get it for free...

Also, the PC license of E6 Golf for the new Mevo+ purchasers is included for free with 2023 Mevo+ purchases, while anyone who got the Mevo+ even last month miss out on that significant "free" inclusion. Since it's free to them, it would be nice if they can provide it to us for free also or for a small admin fee?

                  Ah found it.

"For $150, existing customers will receive the extra 4 courses and the PC version of e6 golf"

So.. Existing customers need to pay $99 for FS Golf PC, and $150 for e6 Golf upgrades license.

New 2023 Mevo+ includes both for free.

I doubt it... ANd even then, I think I'd rather it be a sim option as I don't want their assumptions messing with my readings when doing technical work. Maybe in E6 or others though...
I doubt they can realistically model all the different face constructions with the various weight distributions... Super game improvement clubs likely don't respond the same way to a toe hit than blades for example.. But I'm a hacker so what do i know.

I hope they can personally. Trackman uses OERT to adjust their spin axis indoors. Time will tell.

Henri hints that this will be the case in an upcoming update. He let it slip during a CBS interview.

Its not going to change all the club metrics which is what I assume you mean by technical work. Impact location on my X3 has been very accurate. I checked it with foot spray and hit it all over the face. I will caveat this by saying I have an insane amount of lighting for high speed cameras.

I don’t have a problem paying for new functionality, design work had to go into the product and they need to recoup those costs. I do have a problem being a loyal customer, paying full price and then having the product prices go down after I was an early adopter. Mevo+, now $1699, pro package now $799. I won’t be buying face impact till the price is more reasonable. Flightscope has an awesome product with fantastic customer service and releases more value in this product than anything in this price range IMO. The extended warranty (shield) is over priced IMO. Should be 3 years for that price. Would love to see some development in the portal. Ability to sort columns, include optimizer, hide shots…

I might be missing something, but the complaints that anyone buying a 2023 Mevo+ are getting the PC software and extra E6 courses for free might have overlooked the £200 price increase on the 2023 model. Given that the only differences between the old and new models is battery and stand, I’d say new and old customers will essentially be paying the same.
