Thanks for the info, NorlinA. Will that be an update to VX2 or will it be a completely different app that is "consolidated."? I hope it's the former, of course. Flightscope needs to up its game in terms of peripherals around their devices and better software imo. That's where Trackman is really taking the cake.

Given the way they charge for everything they can, I will be very surprised if it is a free update!

Did you also see that they are talking about a "FocusBand" which somehow taps into your mental state before and through the shot! Will be very interesting to see how that works.

Looks like the new app is out. Mine updated earlier today. It's now called "VX". It says works with Xi and Xi+ (I have an x2). It has short indoor as an option now and a few other items in the release notes on the AppStore. Didn't use it yet, but the launch screen is updated and says a few other minor changes too.

I just got a notification for the update as well. Good thing for non VX2 user is that the new VX app is only $9.99 as opposed to the $49.99 for the VX2.

I just bought the VX2 app 2 weeks ago for $50 along w/ the skills app. What a waste of $40. Still drives me nuts that they charge for the apps after spending thousands on the hardware. It's all development costs...but come on. Skills should be free, if you want all the functionality of the VX stuff, then I see a value in paying $10 or so.
