HMT with TGC - where i see club data?

Hello guys,

im looking for a HMT for my GC2.
I want to see club data information for training purpose.

Does anybody know where i can see the club data from the HMT?
I think TGC will not show club data or?
Is it possible to see the club data on the GC2 screen or perhaps on a tablet/smartphone app?

TGC does show club data after each shot, although it is calculated based on ball spin, so it's limited. I'm not sure if HMT data is picked up for that club data when HMT data is available. Someone with HMT will have to answer that. You can see full HMT club data via the foresight tablet app. I have never seen a used HMT for sale without the GC2, so good luck finding one.

Theres one on ebay now. I think it's in Europe though and it looks kind of pricey for a used one.

No HMT Club data is picked up or used in TGC. Club data on the analysis screen estimated from the ball numbers. The only way to use TGC and get HMT data at the same time is to run Fr1 or FSx via USB at the same time. I find Fr1 to run ok side by side to TGC as it doesn't require the resources that FSX uses.

Just turn the backlight on gc2 and look at that - gc2 will cycle from ball data to club data every couple of seconds with HMT connected

The screen on the gc2 will show you everything your need. It rotates from club the head data.

HMT data will not transmit to the GSX Interface as there has always been an issue with the HMT communicating using Bluetooth (only communicated via USB connection). I know this because I have tested it myself. Hope that helps!

I assume you mean that GSX doesn't leverage the HMT coming over Bluetooth. The data is certainly transmitted as it shows up in iPad app when connected via bluetooth.

HMT data transfers fine. Use the iPad app and see. No issues.

How excact are the measured values via HMT?
Has anybody experience HMT vs flightscope/trackman?
I googled and the user said that the measured values are nearly same with trackman.
only lowspinners have more carry distance with GC2.

I found this for HMT tolerances...

Club Head Velocity: +/- 0.75 mph

Swing Path In / Out: +/- 0.5 degrees

Swing Path Up /Down: +/- 0.5 degrees

Club Face Open /Closed: +/- 0.75 degrees

Club Face Angle: +/- 0.5 degrees

Club Face Lie Angle: +/- 0.25 degrees

Club Face Loft Angle: +/- 0.75 degrees

Assuming these are compared against a very high speed camera.
