Hi Everyone,
First post here and I must say I'm really impressed by all the info on this forum! So much helpful stuff.
Unfortunately I'm not seeing anything regarding the issue that I'm experiencing... If it's there and I'm just missing it then please forgive the repeat post.
Anyways, here goes -
I recently purchased a used GC2 and the numbers seem pretty good (reasonable and as expected) for MOST shots, but once I started trying chip shots I noticed that the spin numbers on these shots only is ABSURD (see attached pictures). In particular, the side spin registered is crazy (backspin too, but not by nearly as large of a margin).
I've tried the latest firmware version (4.0.0.15) as well as version 3.5.1.0. I've also tried placing the GC2 at different heights above the mat, different lighting, different locations for the GC2 (including a completely different room), different shoes, and different wedges. None of this made a difference.
I contacted foresight and was told that this occurs when the flash is failing. But before I drop a lot of money registering the unit with Foresight and buying a new flash I thought I'd ask the forum... Has anyone ever heard of or experienced this problem? If so, was the flash at fault or something else?
Thanks!
TK
