Should serve you very well! Very well reviewed throughout this site. FSX is the upgraded software made by Foresight for he GC2 which will allow you to have practice range sessions with shot data and several sim courses.

Much cheaper options out there if you look around that include plenty of courses and ranges.

I've never played fsx but I know it is very expensive. I play tgc and jnpg. you will find a lot of info here about tgc. you'll have to look elsewhere for info on jnpg.

FSX 2018 was just released, but I am not sure of the price and how many courses it includes.

I think you can get a reconditioned GC2 from Foresight for 4000-4500 and FSX for $3000. FSX comes with 5 courses, the range and skills challenges. If you hit them up now you maybe able to get a PGA show special but those usually focus around the new hardware. Worth a shot. FSX is the most expensive option but it is also the most accurate. To be honest all the software options have issues in different parts of the game. I've played them all and have found myself using FSX almost exclusively. That speaks volumes to me.

Thanks everyone for your info. Now what about a hitting mat?

It’s purely renamed - the software is the same and the cost is the same too.
              I asked them today!

Oh good, I meant to ask that when I was on the phone with my Rep yesterday. I figured that's all it was but wasn't sure. There is a new GUI on the website. Much cleaner, more like E6. I can't wait for that. The current one is a bit cluttered.

“FSX v3.5.0.11 is the same as FSX 2018. On the website there is a quick viewing of FSX 2018 software that has been customized for one of our Partner Companies but that’s just a change in fonts and menu colors. The graphics quality is still the same whether it’s for an Individual or one of our Partner Companies.“

I'm talking about this. I hope this is the future of FSX or a least an option. It's much cleaner than the current layout.

That's a short 397 yards to the pin!

Haha! Great catch on that picture!!! It’s only about 90 yards downhill.

LOL, I guess the graphic is BS or a work in progress. Hopefully it won't be for a partner only. I didn't even look at the info really, more the layout.

I found out today that FSX 2018 will be released in a few months. Nothing more specific at this time.

Read my comment above - Foresight say that FSX2018 is just the same as FSX v3.5.11. There is no new software, it’ll just be renamed.

Changing the name has got to be worth at least a $500 upgrade fee for foresight, right?

I spoke directly with Foresight sales yesterday about the 2018 version coming out in a few months.

Changed their mind since Friday then - as that’s what Foresight support told me! I asked if it would be a chargeable update for current users, and they said there is no difference.
