This is something I'd be interested in. I play with left and right handed golfers so the current launch monitors would be hard to use unless I bought 2 then it would be too expensive. I wonder how much this is going to cost.

Explore the GC Hawk simulator with advanced features, elite accuracy, and powerful performance for golf and multi-sport simulation environments.

It'll be more than two gc2's.

Any product after the GC2 the bluetooth signal is encrypted. So you won't be able to use with 3rd party sim software.

I was curious as well, so made a quick phone call. $22K, ball and club data and FSX2018, 9.5' - 10.5' height mounting range. Wifi enabled, but no bluetooth, so no 3rd party software option.

Did 22 include FSX or was that an add on?

I thought they mentioned pricing in the par2pro video. So the the 22k above is like getting three to four gc2 units. Expensive for sure.

No, you have to compare it to a GC2 with HMT OR A GcQuad. Regular GC2 doesn’t have club data. Same GC2 setup would be like $14k new or something like that and GcQuad $18k.

              No portability though.

Yep, forgot the clubhead data part.

22K! whoa...I would have to wait until a used one comes up in a few years.

If you are looking for seamless l/r play with measured spin and club data with software I'm not sure there is a better deal available honestly.

                You have tested it?

Negative, I suppose it could be a dud. It does seems to check all the boxes in theory though

I currently own the GC Quad and based on their 2 products foresight has good engineers as both products work pretty much flawlessly . I dont see them putting out something that won’t meet or exceed there current offerings. I think the GC hawk probably is geared more for the commercial application and professional fitters.

While I agree with their track record and such and also that tech is advancing in huge ways, the cameras here will still be 9 feet away capturing images and so it would be good to see some testing to ensure that it is as accurate as the quad.

The cameras being further away will be great for ball path, club path, and speed. Ball spin may be more difficult to measure from that distance. I can see ball path going from +/- 1 degree to about 1/10 of that.

The Hawk looks like a real winner. It’s kind of a GSX move to announce something before it’s ready but those guys know what they are doing. Too bad they are not allowing 3rd party software. I’d really consider buying the thing but I’m not looking for a committed marriage to FSX.
