Golf Mat for SkyTrak

Hello all,

Quick question as to which mat you all would recommend. My current mat was a cheap one bought from amazon (under $100). I use the mat in my garage on the cement floor, therefore I need some cushion for the joints. Also, in the winter, the mat got wet due to snow melting off the cars. Now when I strike the mat there is a small puff of smoke (see attached image) which can’t help the accuracy. Finally, the mat is a little bumpy which I am convinced decrease the putting accuracy.

I have a rather broad budget but which mat would you guys recommend. I want something that punishes me for poor contact.

I would check out Par2Pro.
I got two of there Trufeel golf mats. They really punish you for fat shots. 2 4x3 mats was 600 shipped.

I got two two so I could change them around so I got lots of use out of them. And they are a great feel when swinging.

there are lots of mats out there. I like these tho,
ive played 70 rounds and a lot of range days. Also my buddys have played a lot of rounds with me. I just move em back and fourth
I built a little box for them to sit in.
1x2 pine and just screwed it to a piece of plywood. Took 10 minutes lol. Only cost 25 bucks.
This way the mat doesn’t move around

The turf is very dense and punishes for fat shots and the mat is VERY durable.

I've had one for three months. Great product and price. Makes you long for home when your at a driving range.

I use the DivotAction mat and found it to be pretty good...especially since I have elbow pain since last year - too much golf. It is pricey and I think some folks have DIY solutions which you can find on the forums. If you will practice a lot and want to be gentle, I suggest that mat. In this long thread on golfwrx (http://www.golfwrx.com/forums/topic/...t-for-my-game/) the main poster talks about how he suffered from pain and tried many different mats. For me, the mat works well, although I think yardages are affected a bit - they are a bit less, but that could be my "indoor" swing :-)
