Is there a certain version of the "Shank Tank" protective shield that works with the HMT arm? Anyone have pics? Has anyone modified the regular version to fit? Looks like some quick work with a dremel tool and cutoff wheel.
Thanks!
I have the silver one and the black one. The silver one does NOT have the cut out, but the black one does, both heavy metal shank tanks, silver one has metal strips across the front, black one has perspex.
Here is for sale my GC2a with the FR1 software and 1 course, the protective metal case, the wifi dongle and all the cables you need. It comes in its original
But as you said, a little metal work and you can convert the silver version into HMT friendly (sand down sharp edges!)
I had the silver one and just cut a notch into it to accommodate the HMT. I just traced it out and was going to use a grinder, but a hacksaw with a metal blade worked fine and put a nice edge on it.

Good Luck
I've got one of the silver ones coming. That is exactly the plan. Shouldn't be a big deal at all.
My main reason for asking was just to see what this HMT compatible version looked like, that's the first I've seen one. Thanks for the link.
