  • need help connecting to gsx

hey everyone. so I tried to fire up the sim tonight after about 3 month hiatus. I fired up the protee interface, then gsx, then slid the slider to on, but only the status output was showing connected. I made no changes to any settings since the last time I used it. it was working without issue prior to today. I removed the gc2 from the Bluetooth device listed and re-connected it. I confirmed the input and output comm ports. i tried sliding the slider to on then off, like 20 times. everything is the same, but I can't get the "status input" to connect.

    please help!!

Try unplugging your BT dongle for a second, this happens to me sometimes.

Mine did the same thing last week after a Windows update. I ended up uninstalling then reinstalling my bluetooth adapter to get it to work.

I had a problem similar to yours and had to open a ticket up with Protee they fixed in less then 48 hours. I’m sure it had something to do with setting the correct com ports

I hope that's the case, but I hadn't touched any of the settings since I initially got it up and running a year ago. everything was working fine until now. I opened a ticket now...

Sometimes you need to delete the Bluetooth profile and create a new one. Happens. I don’t know why.

I just had a similar issue and contacted Pro Tee. They remoted in and took care of the problem. You might want to reach out to them.

So stingreye was kind enough to give me directions on reinstalling the Bluetooth and even tempted in, but no luck. I had a protee remote in session this am. Looks like my Bluetooth dongle died on me. It didn't even pick up the hc2 this morning. I was able to connect the gc2 to the Android app last night nd this morning, so I know it's not the gc2. I will get a n.a. dongle and try again tonight.

so, after getting a new bluetooth adapter and multiple remote sessions by protee, no luck with that. protee said they had one other person with the same problem and a reinstall of windows solved it. so, i reinstalled windows last night. i checked the connection with putty and it looks like data is being sent. i'm just waiting on the new license keys and will try everything tonight. hopefully it works
