  • Shots with my 58, 54 and 50 degree wedges aren't being picked anymore

I've had my GC2/HMT for about 24-30 months (purchased new from Foresight Canada). Recently tournament play has become almost impossible. The thing won't pick up wedge shots anymore. I have to hit a super low bump and run. Most of the time the ball runs way past the hole. I can't tell if there's a problem with the unit or if my shot shape has changed. Can the experienced GC2 guys help with this? Do you think I need to have the GC2 fixed, change parts or just get dark wedges. I currently play the traditional shinny wedges (Vokey SM7). The wedges are getting old, so the timing is good if in fact dark colored wedges would improve matters. Thanks in advance for your help.

I mean the X-Y axis from where you hit.

I've came to the conclusion if your battery gets low and have shiny clubs might pose an issue with high launch. The battery thing is a known issue possibly. Instantly picked up shots after I plugged it in.

Mine doesn't do it when the flash is new and starts doing it more and more as the flash gets older. Having the ball in the very top left of the FOV helps. Mine is mostly plugged in unless I'm killing the battery so it's not the battery here.

Just picked up and tested my new brushed steel sm7 vokeys. Darker than the chrome, but not as dark as the black. No missed reads no matter how I hit them. Hit all three repeatedly - 58 54 and 50. Thats the definitive solution. Just go with darker wedges.

I agree. Also think if flash is weak it can't counteract the shine from the clubs. Darker, brushed wedges solves it
