Upgrades / Course Updates ??

Thought I saw a screen shot of a page that showed you if an update of your course was available.

I checked the game and the website and couldn't find anything.

Yep, it's there. 6.0.0.3 Interesting that isn't an Upgrade. I'm good with that. Downloading now..... Oh, Fairgrounds is there as well.

The fairgrounds game is pretty cool, my kids are playing putt-skee and loving it.

Didn't they also say at the PGA Merch show that they would be releasing a course building tool as well?

I think that is coming out later this year. Not with this release.

Version 6 released today as well as the fairgrounds game software. I just got the email for download and installed it.

I just received e-mail the update is ready from foresight. Looks like lots of stuff added/fixed

BTW I'm hoping the update is good... I have the alpha version of TGC2019 and it's awesome. I played FSX by preference before tcg's new version, but not sure going forward... a lot will depend on this latest FSX version. I have high hopes for the fairgrounds app as a means of getting/keeping my 6yo son's interest... Here goes nothing...

I played a few quick holes with the update. The green contour feature kills to birds with one stone. You get a view of your ball, this has been missing, and then it flies to the green and drops balls like they do on TV. Only complaint there is the area is rather small, it would be nice if this was larger for some greens. All in all, nice addition. The conditions screen is borked up in 4K but not that big of a deal. You can go in and change the conditions in game. Yeah!

Do we have to trash 5.0 before we download 6 or does it overwrite the old one ??????

My CG2 does not seem to connect to the Fairgrounds game.

I get that as well...not had time to look yet, it might be my firewall/ file shield, FSX finds it fine.....will let you know if I solve it.
