Inexpensive desktop for GCQuad

My teacher just got the GCQuad and I am helping him get it set up in his studio which already has a simulator - an old Double Eagle. Currently we are running the FSX2018 through a laptop with a dedicated graphics card but we want to install a dedicated desktop. I've read some different threads and it seems like the main thing we need is the GTX 1060 or higher. I'm trying to find something used for about $400. Any suggestions please?

Sorry - the best I can think of is a refurbished machine from Newegg.com - but with a GTX1060 - even that's going to run you over $500 (and doesn't include a monitor).

There are a couple of used ones on ebay right now. They don't come with monitors though. I would also check Craigslist. Shipping a desktop isn't cheap, so if you can find one local you will probably get it for about $50 less.

I second the CL option. I went that route as you can find a lot of good deals if you know what you are looking for. Pay attention to the detail of the posting and pics, usually the gaming crowd who builds them have very detailed info and they are always upgrading so deals are there.
