  • FR1 software won't load, locks up computer

hello everyone, just received my GC2 unit today.

I installed all the files and got it up and running. While in game, I changed the graphic setting so that the game window fills the entire TV screen (32' TV). Was working fine.

Upon exiting FR1 and trying to launch the program again, as soon as I double click the icon to launch, my TV screen flickers and message comes up DVI 800x600 and it locks up the computer.

I've tried reinstalling all the software but still no luck.

Any anyone else ever experienced this? Any ideas on how to fix?

    Much appreciated!

I can't help you but I'll give you 500 for that fr1 that isn't working. I tried to buy that and trade it in on fsx2018 software. I thought I finalized a deal on it and Johnny you somehow worked a better deal. Enjoy. Triple will know what to do he is a guru in all things pc.

I had a similar issue, I don't know if it's going to be exactly the same but try reading from post #13, or scroll up a bit.

Do you guys see Spin Axis (Tilt Angle) in degrees, instead of Sidespin and Backspin in RPM? I see the option to change it from Sidespin/Backspin RPM to Spin

Its not FR1, its your graphics card. Try messing with your graphics settings and/or reset it to default settings. See if that works. Similar situation happened with us and I think we ended up resetting the graphics card.

ok guys, so here is what I changed the first time I launched FR1 and actually played some.

The "Screen" setting, I change it to "Full Screen" and think that definitely screwed it up.

              Brandon, that worked!!!

So I uninstalled the MSI GTX 1070 video card via device manager and which time, my computer reverted to the onboard video card. I launched FR1 and it worked!

Now to figure out why my MSI video card was working before but not now.

Thanks again for the suggestion! this is a huge step forward!
