Foresight Components 1.30 software.

Hello,

Can somebody PLEASE point me in the right direction to download Foresight Components 1.3 for FR1? I have a GC2 with the latest firmware (4.0.0.15) but FR1 gives me really messed up readings when connecting via the USB cable and all my research indicates I need Foresight Components 1.30 to resolve this issue. I am currently running running version 1.234.0009.170812 - what came with the install disc.

The GC2 unit appears to give accurate readings on its display and so does connecting via BT - though BT connectivity can be flaky sometimes. Would much prefer having a hardwired USB connection for FR1.

Please help me me find it - I truly have looked everywhere and Foresight seems to have completely discarded anything to do with FR1 on their website.

Shouldn’t matter what firmware you are running, I’ve used fr1 for years with various firmware and it works fine, I would reinstall fr1 software and use gc2 calibration.

I bought FR1and 52 from one here from forum and I have the same problem, for example I can not create more players, and there is also missing something about putting up projector parameter, I think ?? Can't find download on Foresight website either. Would appreciate getting a download too Thanks

I have this same issue and was wondering if the 1.3 file is still necessary or if it is in the latest driver? I can't get any shot to recognize through FR1 and I'm connected USB.

Hi - I'm in the same boat as the OP in this thread - any help to solve this issue is greatly appreciated. For context, I'm comparing FR1 via USB to that of the Performance app on iPad using BT. The Performance app data on iPad looks like the real me. The FR1 data via usb is generally very optimistic and has the frequent shots with 0 data values as mentioned by Rbats.

How can I fix this?

Hi All - just bumping this again. I "thought" the fitting app in the non-updated FR1 was strangely not impacted by the data discrepancy issues (FR1 reports different data than the GC2). But yesterday sadness came when I realized this was also not true - so FR1 is useless for me. If anyone has access to the 1.3 components, I would be very appreciative. Especially since Foresight also ignored my plea for help (somewhat expectedly).

I don't understand your problem. When you are using FR1 with a computer hookup there is no data display on the GC2 for version 1.3.and the GC2 firmware which is 4.0.0.15.
The only time you will see the display is if you were in FR1 and either disconnect the cable or exit FR1 on your computer. If you were playing a non level hole then the carry distance may be different then the GC2 only because the GC2 display assumes level terrain. Ball speed, spin, azimuth etc are all the same.

Hi Ronsc1985 - Thanks for your response - I appreciate it. I am not on 1.30 and that is what I am trying to solve - various threads talk about a 1.30 component upgrade that fixes these issues (and there are many documented resolutions), but I cannot find such a component package - including reaching out to Foresight.
