  • Protee/GSX Interface with GC2 and E6 Connect

I couldn't find any specific thread so I figured I'd post here.

When connecting my interfaces and e6 connect, I'm showing what looks to be a proper connection throughout GC2>GSX>Protee>E6 Connect. But E6 will not show shots. No data on that software. But there is data on GSX/Protee interfaces.

I've edited the settings.pgs (E6=True), and updated GSX and protee to look at proper software (No TGC, PT=E6)

Via E6 online my account is active and licensed for protee.

However, I still get cannot get the E6 software to read shots.

Any ideas/tips/known resolutions would be great! Thanks.

I downloaded the demo, and have e6 1.6, which works fine using the GC2. However, E6 Connect does not work right now using the protee united interface, even though it is listed on supported devices on Trugolf website. I talked to both E6 and Protee and I don't know if it will ever work, as the two probably have to agree on terms. E6 weren't very specific and seemed to imply that it was in Protee's court. The demo does look incredible, but I always found e6 1.6 to have carry distances that were wacky at times. TGC is much closer to what the GC2 reads. Maybe it would be updated, but we might never know.

You cannot use the ProTee interface to work E6 Connect on GC2.
There is a special interface for E6 Connect to work for ProTee which is supplied only when Connect is purchased from ProTee but will not be supplied to GC2 Users.
There is no demo version for ProTee unfortunately.
Using the old e6 switch to True does not apply for Connect and is only used in older interface versions for 1.6.

Thank you for clarifying! Is it safe to say that E6 Connect will never be available for GC2 users?

          Certainly sounds that way...

Looks like E6 Connect is available for Foresight now. I wonder if it will support dual launch monitors to left and right handed golfers?

Good I found this thread, so right now I cannot use E6 with GC2 / Protee interface correct? I assume if Foresight supports E6 its an add-on to FSX which I don’t own right now and therefore would be a 5k+ situation...?

Protee interface is not supported. Looks like Foresight will have another way of connecting their launch monitors to E6 Connect separately.
            Working...
