Hey all,
First time poster, just finishing up my golf room now. I’m pretty sure I’m moving forward with the GC2 and wanted to see what people’s thoughts are on FSX without the HMT? From what I’m reading, FSX is great software if you really want to study your swing, but it looks like you’d need HMT to really unlock the full power.
I take weekly lessons with someone with the high end Trackman so I see all of my club path and face data with that, I’m really just looking for a place to practice, get my yardages down, and play some sim golf. Is just going with TGC 2019 a good bet? Tried to research the TGC software and I can’t see what it has in the way of practice ranges and skills apps.
Lastly, in speaking with someone at Foresight, they said the 3rd party simulation software has some accuracy issues. Apparently they’ve tried them out and found big discrepancies with the data that is displayed on 3rd party software versus FSX. Nothing earth shattering, mainly flight differences, but something worth noting. They’re partnering with E6 to launch sim software but they said they noticed big differences in ball flight and distances so they’re working through that first.
Thanks in advance everyone!
