Gc2 HMT - having some issues, please help!

I'm having 2 issues with my CPO unit. New to the sim world but not to swinging indoors.

    1) unable to get club data numbers in FR1. they show up in the app on my ipad but never at the range on the laptop or after shots in sim round. is it not possible to get club data to show up on the main display?

    2) my carry distances are way way off. I'm like 30 yards short and sometimes more with bigger. i understand indoor swing syndrome is mentioned in other threads but i really don't think that is the case. i spent the last 2 days working on a tm4 and an about golf simulator which confirmed the carry distances were what i am used to on the course and on average 25-30 yard short of my gc2. The only thing i can think of is the mat. mine is an old driving range mat and the ones in the stores are probably much higher grade (one for sure was fiber built). could a mat really be causing this? there is almost no elevation where i live as i thought that might be a cause too

Any suggestions on either problem? Thanks so much!

If your hitting the ball first the Matt shouldn’t have any bearing

now if your catching it fat ?? That’s different

also indoor swing is greatly effected by the size and layout of the room , so simply saying I’ve hit on trackman means little

i swing in a pro studio that’s big 25 by 20 all blacked out
no distraction in any direction and I’m fine with all clubs

in my sim 17 x 10 by 10 I’m only fine up to 3 iron no longer
    the rooms just to tight

smaller tighter space amplify in door swing syndrome

OK im gonna move the unit to an area with 20x20 with 20 feet ceilings and plenty of room just to rule this out. i'm talking about balls that are flushed and feel like they are perfectly struck.

When I get into that indoor funk in a new or small space
or try and stretch out into longer clubs in my space

i always pay close attention to swing speed , ball speed , launch angel and shot apex

        they generally tell the tale,

I had a real rough patch with a set of irons for some reason hitting ever shot so high with so much spin I was costing myself 15 plus yards with short irons both irl and inside

        so many variables
but tracking all the numbers will make it easier to see where and why your not getting the distance

Same thing happened to me. I was so mad. My unit was new. I hit ball after ball. I googled the issue. I looked up the Foresight return info then I decided to take the unit outside. On the range balls landing on the 150 green said 150 on the GC2. I was cured! Problem has been fine ever since.

I'm confused, the unit is now accurate indoors? I am certain I am swinging as fast indoors as i do outdoors. It is not indoor swing syndrome

No. It was me. It wasn’t the unit.

I see... seems to be the issue a lot have reported. Unfortunately I’ve verified space is not the issue here and the unit appears to be off. I’m returning it to the seller

The ultimate test is to take it to a range outside and hit balls.
