    New 3-1 FSX2020 Course Deal

Just got an email for the MMMega Deal. Minot CC, Meadows GC, and Maryland National. Anyone play these courses in real life? These are brand new courses they created, so no information on the Foresight website yet. Just looked at Minot CC website and it looks fantastic. Maryland National looks like it could be fun. Meadows GC has one of the worst websites I have seen. The pictures look like they are from 20 years ago. Course looks tight with a lot of trees.

I might have to buy the package...

I purchased today but have not played yet. Will soon and see how they are. Man course library is growing lately with all the 3-1 deals and also did the zombie deal just to have it for something else to play. As much as FSX gets knocked in the forums I really enjoy the course play. Although I haven't played e6 or tgc to compare to. With my course library growing so much I really hope the next major FSX upgrade is really good.

You must be looking at the wrong Meadows course. It's one of the Sunriver Resort courses. The 3 packs are no brainers if you want to add courses. You won't do better than $50ea.

Yes! You are correct. I was looking at Meadows in NJ. Just looked at the Meadows at Sunriver Resort and it looks great. Just purchased the deal. I expect to see one of these courses in the Par 3 contests for November.

Played Minot last night. Fun hilly course. Pretty neat layout. I like to play lie penalties and if you miss the fairway on this course it's a severe lie penalty.

Can anyone confirm which of these already exist in TGC2019? I don't see them listed on https://tgccourses.com

Update: I fired up TGC2019 and none of the FSX courses exist. These are however, real world courses so I'm assuming fsx is using LIDAR technology to map the courses.

I have been a big fan of the $150 specials in the past, but I have some technical issues that need addressing before putting any more money into FSX. I played my first 18 hole foursome round of the winter sim season with my new room build Sunday, and my drastically overbuilt PC was stuttering so bad on 4k by the end of it that the shot animations were taking an estimated 3-4 times as long. Made for an almost 6 hour round with "fast putt" turned on.

I have played Maryland National in real life. Not that great in my opinion. I won't be purchasing this 3 pack.
Here's the link for the real course: https://www.marylandnational.com/

I absolutely loved Minot CC. Worth the price for this deal. Crazy elevation changes and beautifully done. Would love to see this course in real life. I think my brother would have lost about 20 golf balls if playing it for real.

Are they using lidar to create these new courses?

I have looked at photos of the course from their website and it looks like a really good replica. I would guess that they are using lidar to create them, but have no true evidence backing that statement up. (There is no mention of it on the Foresight website.)
