This is what I bought in July and I love everything about it
The PC is ok and will do the job but really not much you can upgrade. I added a bigger SSD and another 8 GB of ram for a total of 16
The enclosure is really well done. very sturdy and stands on its own. Lots of Velcro
The projector is a Eiki 308u.. never heard of them but it is great.
The screen has an awesome image from the Eiki projector.
The Mat is the FB performance Mat and not the strip most get. It is ok and can be upgraded by buying the additional parts from FB

Do you buy the extra hitting strip and mounting pieces from FB then cut your 4x8 turf in half? Do you have insight into the performance of both types of turf? Just ordered the package and interested to know if I should order the extras!

For anyone wanting a GCQ it wouldn’t be possible to get this quality of setup cheaper. The 30 courses and lifetime license means you do not ‘need’ TGC or e6. The courses would cost a fortune to buy from Foresight

Wow that is an incredible deal. I think gcquad + FSX + courses purchased through foresight would cost more than the package. Heck buy the package, keep the quad and sell the rest!

Yeah, I was considering the Skytrak initially, but couldn’t wrap my head around the comparative lack of accuracy as I was to simulate golf at home but also improve my game. Once I was leaning toward GCQ was then looking at the Par package with the Net Return, the FS rep talked up the value of the Eagle package especially given the discount. I am sure I will add the club data after the free trial is up, but still all in with Quad and all the setup, it’s a great price.

Sorry just saw this. I did cut the mat in half and added the strip. It was about $500 to do the entire setup and you end up with 9x4 studio mat. FB sill send you everything you need. Mats are a personal preference but I hated the performance mat and the strip was better

I could be wrong but I believe it would be over 30k from Foresight once you calc the 15 courses. Also, the lifetime license is nice

Foresight sells the eagle package with club data for 26K
this if you add club data is 21k

i do agree though Quad plus FSX is 14k
        another 3k and you get
        -30 courses
        -hitting mat
        -enclosure and screen
        -gaming PC
        - landing turf
        -computer cart
        -projector

Fair, assuming you want that info.

If you add club data you are still 5k cheaper with double the courses. Does the regular package from Foresight have a lifetime or annual license?

Would we not classify this as a very good deal and given the backlog and waitlist for buying direct a definite path for those to consider if they want something now? Plus it is a very good looking package that you are able to put together. Seems like a win win.

Mine shipped direct from foresight. I think you would have the same backlog but not 100% sure on that

Costco indicates you will get it within 3 weeks. They tend to not over promise at Costco. I bought AirPod Pro’s this morning for $169 from Costco and they said 12/21 delivery. They tend to be accurate

This is a good deal when it’s on sale and you were starting from scratch, although I think it’s worth it in the long run to get each component separately.. The mat is good enough, the projector is decent. I’m not sure the exact size or if they use aluminum pipes for the frame or how the screen compares to Carl’s.
You get a lot of extra premium courses though with this package if you plan to stick with fsx that’s great...
If you plan on e6 or tgc, you’ll probably need a better video card if that computers power supply can even handle it..

It does come with a PC and not a laptop, so any upgrades should be fairly straight forward.

I wouldn’t consider FSX in a new build because of annual cost. However, if there is no annual fee and 30 courses than it changes the equation. I would get TGC no matter the LM personally. So it is gravy IMO

there really is no room for a gpu upgrade, the card is tiny and pretty much goes front to back
the case is small and power supply i think is like 350 watts
the projector is as good as any I have seen people use ruling out those that 4k
the mat is the fiber built performance mat. you can call FB and upgrade to the studio mat for around $500(9x4 one that sells for 1200)
they use square high quality aluminum. goes together easy as everything interlocks to each other and color coded
frame literally takes 20 minutes to assemble. the material is super heavy duty and held together with super strong velcro

when I started looking to do everything separate I priced it out and with the quad it was going to cost me over 20k

So the computer is enough to meet recommended specs and not much else. Previously I had heard the computer and projector varied depending on inventory, no clue if still true. The frame insight is great. Square tubing is a great idea

I think you are correct. I do know they supplied the HP pavilion for at least the last year, that could change going forward
                          the same for the projector.
