What’s the depth of the stock enclosure?

the frame is 4 feet deep but the screen is installed 1 foot out so you have 3 feet deep sides and top. I have never missed the enclosure, The net and curtains I installed for my hacker friends

Been lurking on here and pondering GC Quad for some time, and this discount finally sealed it for me. Will be interested to see when it ships as Costco says 2-3 weeks but FS says longer.

I went to purchase it from Costco myself, had it in my cart and when I went to check out, it was sold it. FML! I'm going to contact Foresight to see if they would give me the same deal as Costco.

The screen is 16:10 ratio? The aluminum tubing sounds nice and easy to work with. I went with a Carl’s screen enclosure with emt pipe. It’s sturdy but you really got to add in some safety with any worm burners richocheting back at you...

I believe they will do $21,000 for the same package with the club data but only through today.

I tried contacting FS, they haven't called or replied back. Good news though, kept on hitting refresh on the Costco page, one came available and was able to purchase it!! Now I have to sell my TruGolf Vista 12, enjoyed the sim, but it's well worth it to upgrade to a Quad.

I purchased this package last year. Only real minor complaints would be the slightly under powered pc and the silly little cart you get for the projector. I ended up mounting overhead and I wish I would have done that from day 1

It was a two day sale here in the states. It is usually offered a couple times per year, the summer sale is usually for 4 weeks

Does anyone know if you can alter/customize the enclosure and screen? My golf room space is only 11 feet wide

Yes you could alter it but the projection screen has velcro sewn around the top and sides and thats how it attaches. So you would probably need to cut and sew the velcro to the new width.

I would imagine a chop saw for the metal bars, fold over the screen on the edge, and same for top baffle. Shouldn’t be a big deal

I bought the Costco package during Black Friday as well. Received an email from Foresight sales just to see if I have questions. The sales guy told me it will be delivered in 10 days.

the projector is as good as any I have seen people use ruling out those that 4k
the mat is the fiber built performance mat. you can call FB and upgrade to the studio mat for around $500(9x4 one that sells for 1200)
they use square high quality aluminum. goes together easy as everything interlocks to each other and color coded
frame literally takes 20 minutes to assemble. the material is super heavy duty and held together with super strong velcro

when I started looking to do everything separate I priced it out and with the quad it was going to cost me over 20k
I would agree with all of this as I purchased this from Costco over the summer. I will add that the screen is a disappointment. I haven't used it that much since I recently only finished the room but the screen is showing significant wear that resembles dents and impressions. Just many many impact marks. I contacted Foresight but was basically told too bad - they thought it looks normal. Honestly, I'm pretty upset over it considering I don't know how to replace the screen with a better alternative because of the dimensions of the frame. You're kind of handcuffed so buyer beware. On another note, I mounted the projector and it's great. I also added a touchscreen as a 2nd monitor. Overall it's a good setup but the screen is really cheap.

My screen puckers a little but it is normally because the back netting takes that shape. It eventually goes away. I play 18 holes every day and don’t have the issues you see. I am vary happy. Carl’s place can make screen any size with Velcro. You would not order there regular screen but you would order the top layer of their dual screen offering

Thanks for the replies and for confirming how I feel, which is this isn't "normal" wear. I'm going to try calling them once more and see if I can get anywhere otherwise I'll begin investigating the alternatives you've suggested. Appreciate the info!

My only question---are you using brand new balls on your sim? Damaged balls or marked balls will damage the screen

Give Par2Pro a call. They do a custom screen option and I think you can tailor it with grommets or Velcro and order to the size you need. May be an option.

you will love it. Be prepared for a very large box with lots of other boxes and parts in it. The frame is so easy to put together. You can do that in about 30 minutes with one other person. The screen and heavy felt surround takes much longer as I had trouble following the directions in some parts. The material for the top of the enclosure is easier to put on with the frame lying on its back as it is do heavy it pulls down.

Be prepared for lots of velcro. Heavy duty Velcro. If I had to do it again I know i could do it in an hour or so.
I did ceiling mount my projector and use the cart for the PC and a touchscreen monitor I bought.

Thanks! Any idea on the footprint of the box? Going to make some room in the garage and carry the parts upstairs from there.
