think you’ll be waiting a long time for that sale or discount. 😂 There’s a reason why they’re not moving on price.
Thanks for sharing! I was just about to ask for the thoughts of someone who writes in emojis, doesn't capitalize his sentences, and takes 2 posts to express one thought. Must be my lucky day!

Much appreciated super chief!
no worries my dood almost as laughable as someone coming on here looking for a deal on something that has 7-8 week wait because everything is backordered 😉👍🏿😂

Got it - so they didn't run a deal during the holidays where they gave away free refurb GC2s with purchase - specifically because there was a lead time? You must have a pretty short memory as you posted in that topic saying "sign me up".
100 posts, most of which expose you as a blowhard clown. Neither your emojis nor your feigned indifference do anything but solidify your stellar body of work. So standard.

Blowhard 🤡with a quad on the way🤙🏿
foresight must have been desperate to just be giving those refurb’d gc2s away. Maybe their next deal will be a free refurb’d quad with purchase of a hawk. Sign me up. Hope you find your deal my guy ✌🏿

So you're the guy who's outwardly proud of paying full price but knows you were impulsive and will be secretly pissed in a few months when there's a promo and you effectively paid $1k /mo. for your impatience.
I always wondered who that guy was. Turned out, it's the same guy who rambles about some BS when he's wrong and embarrassed.
BTW - if you talk nice to the sales reps at Foresight - there's no wait. They can ship you a Quad today if you're a sucker and willing to pay full boat chief.
Personally - I'd like to go through Rain or Shine golf as they don't charge sales tax, which is a massive win. That said, I've been harassing them for weeks via email, phone call, and social media - and they haven't moved an inch. It seems like Steve their sales guy isn't paid on commission.
I also have some hesitancy with regards to the Eagle Package as there doesn't seem to be any guarantee as to which components you get.
I'm ready to buy now, but will wait until there's either a sale or some discount - as paying full retail for pretty much anything just isn't my thing.
So is that a third for the group buy or just six sticks in the mud? (apologies, bad pun intended) I think the costco deal is well worth it. In July, all in for me would be 17,375ish (costco CC and exec membership) I figured my space could be up and running by then God willing. But my research has come to the conclusion that everything is pretty much good with the system (besides peoples personal opinions) except the discrepancy with the computer types that you receive. Even if I have to sell it and buy a better one its a slamming deal. I don't think anyone can compete with them for pure volume alone.

To be honest, the computer that came with it seems to work just fine. I haven’t had any issues. Runs FSX2020 on two screens with no issues. No lags of any sort. Perhaps I am just easy to be pleased.

Is that including tax? Here in CA - the tax is a bit brutal. What I don't understand is why the resellers aren't willing to cut margin a tiny bit on something which get's drop shipped. I can't imagine Foresight is auditing sales and revoking channel partnerships for MAP price infringement.
Because they are selling all available stock at full retail. No need to “move” stock - there is none.
Think through it a bit. In a drop shipping arrangement, there's no inventory cost. Essentially an online reseller pushes a button to submit an order, and keeps the spread. Unless there's a limit on the number of units they are allowed to submit orders for (or something else beyond "cause they're selling at full price - such as Foresight requiring sales log audits to enforce MAP) - a channel partner is incentivized to focus entirely on volume.
If you could sell 1 unit at $18k, with a $2k profit per unit, or 100 units at $17k, with a $1k profit per unit - which would you choose?
I don't dispute your logic in a normal world - this is not a normal world right now.
Yes, I would chose 100 units - if they existed - they don't. This is what you seem to fail to (or refuse to) recognize. No one (including Foresight) has available excess stock sitting on the shelf - so why would you not continue to sell everything you can produce at full retail? You wouldn't - you are going to enjoy the demand and produce as many units as you can - and get paid well for them. One day this will change. Right now, I would not be holding my breath.

Incorrect. The part you seem to fail to (or refuse to) recognize is the concept of wait lists / pre-orders. The flaw in your argument is that it presupposes immediate delivery is required to make a sale. Given that waitlists exist, clearly that is false.
So again, your point boils down to "no discount because they don't have to", however as I noted above, it's not a valid point.

Heavy sigh - OK, best of luck with your purchase. Be sure to report back on the discount you are able to negotiate. I'm out.

Yes it includes tax and then the costco cc and premier membership discount but it is approximate, tax in NJ/NYC is 6.6-8.8% respectively, I could probably be off by a couple of hundred but not much but that is not instant as you get it back (at the end of the year) after paying at in full. I think it is all drop shipped at this point. Not sure the relationship with costco is still strong as I heard they did not want to carry the forecaddy (don't blame them) and it seriously undercuts their own sales team. I think both your arguments are correct, I think that they are still drop shipping but not to the extent that they were or will be(I am still worried about the costco deal). The unavailability of the units is not concerning to many because of the pandemic but as things are opening up more and weather getting better people may not have the "need" for the simulators so I guess only time will tell. My last thought is that I would sell as many units with said delays at the current discounts but if things are going to be as bad as last year, I stop the discount or limit it, if they are looking better I keep the discounts the same.
I must have been off as it is 16k and change with everything, I think it is because it is a 4k discount right now compared to a 3k discount last year? I just pulled the trigger
