The whole unit will shut down and reboot? Or the numbers just aren't being displayed?

The unit will enter the shut down countdown and then reboot before the countdown ends. I checked my power supply last night and was getting 15.4v on a multimeter. I tried charging for half a day like the commenter suggested and it resulted in maybe 3 shots before it went into the same loop

This is all with it plugged in. I only use it on my SIM and usually just have it plugged in

You can try this for no expense.

            1. disconnect the battery and power supply.
            2. Let the unit sit for a few minutes
            3. reconnect everything
            4. download the install the newest firmware which I think is 4..0.0.15 available on the Foresight web page.

Over the years this procedure has fixed a few unexplained events on my GC2. It's like chicken soup. It may not help but it can't hurt.

Yeah, thanks. I will prolly give this a try and maybe get more drastic with the board afterwards.
