I’ve used FSX since I bought my GC2 from Foresight Sports about 5 years ago. I’ve enjoyed the range and the skills challenge mainly. I’ve been using it more lately and decided to reach out to Foresight Sports for my activation code to upgrade to FSX 2020. They replied with a link to FSX 2020 where I’m forced to pay another $1,000 for the software? Is this actually happening or am I misunderstanding everything? I feel I’ve already way overpaid for antiquated software and it’s no longer being supported/updated/upgraded.

nothing new. it was a free upgrade from 2018 to 2020, but was a paid upgrade from fsx to 18. -

I know it's not the answer you are looking for but Foresight's pricing is in line with how other software is sold in the industry. I expect I'll be in the same position 5 years from now myself having to pay for the upgrade.Comment

As I understand it they will be releasing FSX on the Unity gaming platform in 2021 so you may as well wait and see what that brings rather than upgrade to 2020. I am on 2020 which I got this year and I expect there will be a charge to move to the Unity Platform version.
However, when they will release is an unknown. I have been told they are testing it so it should be 2021 but....it takes them 4 weeks to supply me with download links for existing courses so I am not expecting it early in 2021.Comment
