Yup, any ball that will get a nick in it from your wedge grooves is bad for your screen. I've found the best covers to be made of Surlyn. I just ordered some Titleist Velocity balls to try since that's what they are. A lot of people use Srixon, and I have some but hate the feel. Here is a good list. I think Ionomer covers are good too but don't remember for sure.
