I didn't even realize this was an option until recently watching a video and the person in the video turned it on. It seemed obvious that every video I watch of someone using a GC2 or Quad seemed to show it but I never really gave it much thought. Anyhow I decided that it made sense to turn it on especially if I have someone over that isn't familiar with hitting on a launch monitor because it is good feedback. However, when I turned it on in the settings nothing happened. I don't see any display of the hitting area on the screen. Is it only applicable to the Quad? Do you need to restart the software after making changes to that particular menu? Just curious if anyone has any knowledge about this or has experienced the same thing? I have a GC2.

I get the hitting area with the GCQ. Not sure if it is exclusive to the Quad or not (.e. not GC2) - pretty sure I have seen the same thing on the Hawk. I fond it pretty handy though it is rotated 90 degrees - once you have that figured out it works well I find. That said, once you have your hitting position on the mat it is probably not all that useful but I still like it.

If you mean watching the flight of the ball after you hit it, yes that is a nice feature and it is available with the GC2. If you mean seeing the ball on the screen in the teeing area or on course ready to be struck. No, that is not an option. And I agree, I'd like that to.
It may be with the Quad. I have GC2/HMT and am not familiar with the Quad.

I think it’s the green boxes on screen that appear showing you where the ball is located for capture.
It works for gc2 with the usb plug, I haven’t tried with bluetooth..
