    GC2 and HMT Alignment

    Hi all

how do you align the gc2 to the target?
i know with the gcquad you use a alignment stick but how do you align the gc2?

i know there is a alignment stick cradle with the gc2 protective case but if that’s pointing at the target then the path would always be like 20 degrees in to out!!

any help with where the target would be?

Just make the alignment stick in the protective case cradle parallel to the target line.

Yes I understand that, but if the stick on the cradle is pointing at the target then the stick parallel is pointing to the left of the target......

my question is where is the gc2s target?

your alignment lines should all be parallel, therefore (if you're right handed), your feet should be left of the target, your ball right on the target, and the gc2 should be aligned to the right of the target... but all parallel to each other.

Hit a few putts directly at your desired target, and adjust the GC2 a little to compensate. Continue doing this until it's pretty close to HLA 0.0 for a putt you watch roll straight. Keep in mind the GC2 isn't perfect for reading putts and there will be a little variation, but doing this works to get it aligned to a screen or net.

I use a more straightforward approach. I put a carpenter square next to the GC2 and make sure it is aligned with my 5'X5' hitting mat. Then I swing parallel to the mat line. Seems to work well. I have the indicator on the screen mostly aligned with the ball position, but since I don't hit the ball from the same exact spot each time I don't worry about the screen being precise.

I take an alignment rod and I put it in the holder then I align the ball to the target and the alignment rod 1.5 feet right of the target. Works every time. If you’re really picky go to mthunt dead flat range and concede to hole 2 then hit r and hit putts seeing if l or r miss the hole left or right. Keep in mind wont work if straight putt is on. My advice is align the rod 1.5 feet right or target.

Has anybody ever tried the alignment feature in Schogolf?
You have to be connected to your GC2 by usb to do it. I tried it and I think I did it right. Directions didn't come with much explanation of how to do it and why it would work.

I tried that. Not sure it does anything
