I don't this anyone has mentioned this our confirmed this with Bushnell.

With the spin axis locked out, do we still get curve on the range?

If you get the curve derived from the measured spin axis displayed on the screen, but just don't get the actual spin axis #, i think that is fine for the price.

You essential get total spin and clubspeed and then exactly what you would get IRL at the range(seeing the ballflight, but not knowing exactly how much the spin axis is tilted).

For someone that just wants to practice hitting balls at their home, I think thats actually valuable.

However, if they don't display the curve... it's actually worthless.

Yes Bushnell confirmed you will still get actual realistic ball flight but you just won’t be able to read the spin axis numbers. That’s why I’m strongly considering the silver package.

Hah, cool and thanks for that update aussiebenny , I agree, I sure wish I had this when I was playing junior golf and tournament golf many decades ago. I see what you are saying with the fact of the LM forces you to hit hundreds of shots/day which you would not otherwise do, I do that now, but not as productive at range when you don't know exact yardages you're hitting most shots.

But, I've come to the conclusion that I really want to putt on my sim, and think it will improve my short game/putting immensely if I can putt on it. That's why I was asking about putting on Mevo+, as I've heard some say it's difficult, while others say they can do it fine - even down to 3' away. I'm going to setup 2 LMs in my Shed Sim - my ProTee (which has a putting sensor separate from the hitting/sensor), and my new Garmin Approach R10 (which does not do putting at the moment, sadly).

Brettster - Maybe I'll give putting another chance on my Mevo+, putting on a flat surface and see how I go. But yeah, once I have the funds, I am defintiely going to upgrade to a minimum GC3, and preferably to an EYEXO to do some accurate putting as well.

Brettster - I have tried Mevo+ putting today with different setting to what I've tried previously, and now surprisingly, it's fully usable. In fact, it's actually quite accurate in distance down to 3 feet, and has near zero miss rate! I'll create a new post on the Flightscope section with what I did and also a video of me putting with it on TGC 2019.

      Will TGC work with this?

That's yet to be determined. There is hope that something like the GCQuad workaround could work

That’s what I was thinking. I want to order one but I need to it work with TGC so I can play online with an out of state friend that has a SkyTrak.
Anyone play online with people that have different launch monitors?

Yes it has been done before. Check out some videos on YouTube by Golf Simulator Videos. He's played using Mevo+ against Skytrak, GC2, etc.

I got the notification this morning that my Launch Pro has shipped ahead of the November 1st date advertised. I also came across the attached image while trying to figure out how to download the software required for the Launch Pro ahead of time. It looks like there will be an option to fully unlock the Launch Pro for anyone interested in purchasing that way.

six7red it's also worth noting that buying the GC3 straight up gives you 10 courses with FSX. That image appears to show 5 with Bushnell, so possibly even further ahead doing the one time purchase initially instead of upgrading a Launch Pro.

bubbtubbs That image is outdated as FSX now includes 10 courses as standard. Even Bushnell website now states 10 courses for Gold & Unlocked as you can see here: https://www.bushnellgolf.com/product...rs/launch-pro/

aussiebenny good to know. In no danger of getting a BLP over the GC3 or EyeXO but the update is useful.

GC3 by Foresight Sports (Launch Pro) - FIRST LOOK! Unboxing & Review. In this video I take the ALL-NEW Foresight Sports GC3 Golf Launch Monitor and do an unboxing and full review along with demonstration of shots, chipping, and putting. We will talk about the differences of the Bushnell Launch Pro model and the GC3 and discuss technical specification of the GC3 that lead to its performance and data accuracy.

Ummm, Yeah Brettster that is rude, and honestly sounds like you are on some pedestal where I owe you? Just an FYI, I paid FULL MSRP for my GC3. Nice assumption though. wow......

ahhem, I'm sorry and excuse me if it came off like that... I really thought the Bushnell Launch Pro did not have all the data, and did not send all that data over to the software that the GC3 does as that is why you pay the additional $4,000? That being said, I also thought then that, you could turn 'off' that data on your GC3 and be able to determine less measurement accuracy in the software when using it as a 'Launch Pro', so I did not think it was that big of a problem that you could show that and I even thought you might want to test/show that to indicate how much more accurate GC3 (or the updated Launch Pro) is with the additional data.

Damn bro. Don’t be a dick. Plenty of guys on here that appreciate Jays videos. He doesnt owe you or any one of us anything. He’s also done plenty of videos for skytrak, mevo+, R10, and some of the lower priced LMs.

Do you think I could buy a Bushnell Launch Pro and then buy FSX 2020 from Foresight? It'd be a $1k savings for the same thing as a GC3 direct from Foresight. I am shocked no one has mentioned that...

You still need to pay fir unlocking 3D simulation and some other data. Having just fsx on the 3k version might not work

Bushnell is charging $4k to unlock it essentially with FSX 2020. Foresight charges $3k for the FSX 2020 software.

E6 at $2500 is a standard PC license price by E6 Golf and isn't determined by Foresight. Afaik the price is set by E6 themselves and thus it's the same price for the same license for any other LM brands such as Garmin or Flightscope.

As for FSX 2020 to FSX Play, I expect it to be a free upgrade since it was free (and still is) for FSX 2018 to FSX 2020 upgrade. See the "Please Note" section here: https://www.foresightsports.com/supp...tware/fsx-2020 And yeah, it would be really bad if I buy GC3 in a few months, and then few months later, they release FSX PLAY for extra $2-3k that most likely will be bundled for free for newer GC3 purchasers. So yeah, going by their past history, it would be safe to assume it will be a free upgrade for anyone who already owns the FSX 2020 license.

thanks aussiebenny - that links shows all courses that can be played too. I'm wondering now about the Foot Golf - as I could see my youngest son being interested in that, he liked soccer practice last spring... Do the Foot Golf courses just work with any Foresight LM (including the Bushnell Launch Pro/GC3), or do you have a to have the Foresight Hawk to play Foot Golf? I sure like all the other options they have (multisport) with the mini-golf, zombie golf, etc., as well, and would like to use those games to get son interested in playing in my Sim....

Brettster the FSX2020 software is on the Foresight website for $3k as an individual purchase. Bushnell has a pricing option to sell FSX2020 to "unlock" the Launch Pro for $4k. I just don't know if Foresight would let you buy FSX2020 from them with a Bushnell unit and not the GC3, even though it's the same hardware.

The e6 license through Foresight, you'll need to purchase FSX first to get that to work.

Any news on a tgc19 workaround, now that there are units out in circulation? My gc3 arrives on Tuesday and I have listed my Skytrak and tgc19 lifetime license for sale but would much rather hang on to tgc19 if there is hope that it can work with a gc3 like it does with a quad.

I checked on the ability to order Bushnell Launch Pro and buy FSX from Foresight...it cannot be done. I'm guessing the $1k additional above the $3k FSX 2020 price is for unlocking the full spin data and the extra club data points. Similar to how club data on a GCQ is $4k or the extra club data for Mevo+ coming out is $1k
