So I bought a GCQuad that unfortunately had some things stolen from it. I have no battery or cords etc. it comes up with these error messages. Is it fixable at all? Once I get the battery and computer? Just curious! Thanks

Yikes. I don't know the answer. I suppose Foresight will sell you a battery and a cable. Then fingers crossed. Hope you got a good deal!

The Quad is usable standalone, without a computer connected. Hopefully it's just a missing battery, and the unit itself hasn't been reported as stolen. Call Foresight, they will be able to help you with everything.

Sounds sketchy buying a quad that doesn't work. I think it's 1k to register it in your name and then you could get it repaired. You could call foresight and ask about its history I imagine. Hopefully it's not 🔥.

If it's not registered in your name, it's going to cost 1k just to get them to look at it I believe. Then the repair costs on top of that.

Thanks, you are correct…They we’re kind enough to let me upgrade from FSX to FSX 2020 for $1k and just include the registration fee with that…I bought one off eBay with that same error code and I was just wondering if I’m going to be looking at a $500 repair or $10k repair…It won’t get past this error code when it boots up, but my computer and FSX could see it. It couldn’t see a ball…A bit of a gamble, so it will be interesting to see how it works out…Also, for what it’s worth, the regular GC2 power supply appears to work with the Quad. Foresight doesn’t recommend it (the tech I spoke too couldn’t explain why and just said it was the company’s policy, so I’m not sure what the deal is) but the specs appear to be the same…
