GC Quad ... Battery or no battery

Hi All, When using your GC Quad in your sim room, are you using it with the battery in or do you take it out to save it's lifespan?

i have done both. i heard it was good to store it, just not at 100% charge
right now i mostly leave it in and cycle it once a month or so

I leave it out and ready for when I may want to take it to the range. Been doing so for years and works great.

I have always just kept the battery in the unit. I rarely move it. Seems like that's not the best thing to do?
