FSX 2020 Dual display club data issues

Hey Guys,

I'm having issues with dual displays in FSX 2020. The data at the top of the club data screen is being displayed with very strange alignment and it looks like it's getting cut off half way on the screen. I only have this with dual displays on. I've already tried different resolutions and updated FSX to the latest version but unfortunately no success.

Anyone with the same problem and hopefully a fix?

I can't get past the 20° in-out, 17.9° down, 13.4° closed, and wow, that spin....that is amazing! Can you hit a 100 yard flop shot with your driver? I gotta see this shot!

Sorry, I don't know what's wrong but the screen formatting looks off to me, like the font. Maybe compare to what it looks like with a single screen when correct, look at your graphics setting when you have a single screen and correct and then compare those settings to when you go full screen. You could also try renaming your fsxsettings file in the system folder and let fsx create a new one and see if that does anything.

Haven’t tried to rename to rename the fsxsettings file. Will try that and update you guys on the outcome.

Ah, ok, that's funny. I've done that on accident while playing a round and if you don't have mulligans enabled, it sucks!

Scaling is set to 100% I had some issues with that in the past. The strange thing is that it only happens when I have dual displays on. If I just use the tv I have no issues at all.

Are you using an Nvidia graphics card? I've had a situation where the Nvidia control panel would not respond to inputs from the Windows settings. If so I would play around with the scaling options within Nvidia's settings. Make sure you choose the monitor you're having issues with under "1. Select the display you would like to change."

Just curious if you are duplicating the primary to secondary screen or extending it.

It is a Nvidia card. I'll check the control panel and see if I duplicating or extending the primary screen.

That's also a great point. If your native resolution or aspect ratio of the tv/monitor is not the same as the main display when using mirroring/duplicate it may crunch the text. It should be fine if you are just extending it?

Yup, it’s a 3080. I have fixed everything in the windows settings. Haven’t checked these settings in the nvidia control panel yet. Will check this tomorrow.

Last suggestion, what if the actual monitor is forcing a different aspect ratio? Maybe try the OSD menu on the monitor itself like using the buttons and check to make sure it's on auto or 16:9 instead of 4:3.
