I am a newbie at this forum, but have been looking around and researching sims for the past two months… pulled the trigger on the Foresight sim in a box package at Costco yesterday. Cant beat the pricing. Will be interesting to see how long it will take Costco to ship… they stated 3-4 weeks.

Thx. Is there a good place on this forum to bulk up on my knowledge for this unit?

Well, was wondering if side nets are needed to catch the errand shank or hotel rocket and if so, which ones do people recommend?

I have a DIY enclosure which is about 15 ft wide. My stance mat has me hitting from the middle of the screen. Even with a shank/hosel rocket, I don't have issues.

I've even tested this out with a net return which sits about 8 ft away. I've never had a shanked shot. YMMV though but I suspect you'll be okay.

Not sure bout that either. Will let people know once I get the unit. Even if it doesn’t include it, I believe it is a software add on, correct?

Historically the package did not include club data.

You know the details on how to get the club data?

@denversutchie I believe you can purchase the add on direct from Foresight. Might want to check, but it is an upgrade option.

Correct, the club data add-on is $4k from Foresight.

That is correct. Received an email from ForeSight yesterday and they confirmed the club data add-on is only on the system for 30 days and it is $4k to add it on. Costco still a smoking deal even after paying for this add on.

What clubhead data will I be able to see without the add-on?

By the way, foresight sales team super, super responsive in answering emails… impressive

I don't think any club data is displayed without the add-on.

Does anyone know if I can connect the computer to a TV that I have on the wall next to where the sim will be? I.e., have the projector up on the sim screen and have the com-user showing club head date on tv simultaneously?
